Steve morgans had a sudden change of heart and decided to rumage round in his back pocket for some spare change to bring in a few loans. Yeah right, more chance of moxey winning slimmer of the year with seb runner up!

Seriously doh, this wolves rumours page is going go out of business soon with the lack of transfers and money being spent at wolves

They can't even be bothered to turn the big screens on any more that's how tight moxey is because it waste the leccy lol

Mills wolf -

According to papers alex baptist cumin on loan any thoughts?

anyone moaning about Saunders are prob the same people who didn't want Steve Bruce and look at hull now, let's give saunders a chance for crying out loud either support the club and there descions or don't go to the games as the owner will run the club how he deems fit no matter what we all say. I for 1 would have been happy with Bruce but as it stands I think saunders will do a good job given time

O driscoll another, 13 points for 17 or sumit like that!

Wolves through and through, who do we end with?

Yep ex vile munchkin saunders

And don't mention mick and ipswich past us ages ago and havnt looked back since, watch them be promotion contenders next year! Mark my words

Its a marathon not a sprint.

Managed to get to the game yesterday, thought we played better than I expected us too after listening to it on the radio for most of the season.

After listening to Saunders on radio I do feel abit sorry for him, as he seems to know what he wants to do but he doesn't quite know how he is going to change it.

I don't think the team needs much changing (this season) but Stephen Ward has to go, so new left back and even though I have defended him before, we need to ship Henry, he did nothing yesterday and we have far better centre midfielders than him. Get ourselves another striker to separate SEB and Doyle and we should do okay.

Credit to our fans, yes we chant saying we lose every week, but the attendence was excellent considering where we are in the league.

I don't want to slate other people because opinion is opinion an I respect others views but cum off it doyle is poor yes yesterday he overall did well but he never scored!! I don't knw how to get point across its he's bloody job to find the net!! (people may argue he works hard links play ect) but all in all strikers need to score! An john carew? Wat?? he's rubbish an always has large wage can't c why don't score enough goals! And the other person who thinks deano improved us? Where?? Still no wins? An as tamworth pointed out yesterday record same as stelle in last 5! There iv said it bloody foolishness
Siewolf

I wasnt saying that Doyle should play, but he and SEB need to play not with each other anymore ( or at least at the moment). I agree that he and SEB were both awful, I think they won 3 headers between the 2 of them in entire game!

How can anyone moan about Saunders think he has improved us if we still had stale we would of lost yesterday we showed some bottle kept the ball well at times and created enough chances all he needs is a bit of backing he knows what we need and for those slating foley he was back to his best yesterday

Danny

Only thing DS did wrong was he should have made a change a lot earlier than he did

This cost us the game and I hope he learns from it

We were 2 minutes away from losing yesterday anyway, STS or not. Dean is a poor manager and is not taking us anywhere but down.

He did the same against Blackpool

10 Feb 2013 19:25:57
We need a big man up front, why doesn't DS get John Carew in for the rest of the season, he's on a free and surely worth a punt. What have we got to lose?

10 Feb 2013 19:23:28
With us so worryingly close to the drop zone, does anyone else share the view that we won't have the fight to get out of it if we do drop in?

10 Feb 2013 19:21:25
its amazing I was on here the friday after transfer deadline day saying were stupid for not selling ebanks for 1.5 mil when he's contracts up in summer

and I also said whenw e offerd him a new one we were stupid as he's useless I agreed he's top goal scorer and occasilny scores but there lazy tap ins

and 90 percent of people disagreed and said I was stupid yet I see after another bad performance on saturday everyones saying move him on same old same old!

make uo your minds!

10 Feb 2013 17:40:20
im not a big ds fan but he's the first manager to turn around and admit the defence are awful! thank god someone else can see it apart from us fans. he wants morgan to dig deep for 2 defenders. you don't need to be shelock to work out our defenders can't defend! even stevie wonder could work that out!maybe he should get the job!

Only thing Morgan is going to dig deep for is the foundations of a building project somewhere. He ain't going to dig deep for anything else, not two defenders, nor one, nor even a striker - zilcho. Hence the timing of the Stale sacking (who in fairness didn't do himself any favours) and the appointment of DS - scratch one transfer window. If Deano keeps us up, and he has a better than fighting chance of doing it, he will have done it the hard way. wolfshead.

10 Feb 2013 17:31:50
get mick back and get him back now

Your as Mental as Mick. UTW

Are you mad? It's because of all the garbage he bought and then left behind when he was sacked that we are struggling where we are now. He is the single worst thing to happen to us since the Bhattis and it will take years to clean the club of his losing influence.

Spot on mate. P. J.

10 Feb 2013 17:10:35
The whole club has lost the plot. We are where we deserve to be. Dean Saunders is in the same position as he was last year with Doncaster and they went down. The club is stale the players are stale, there is no connection between the players and the fans anymore. We have no players other than joh than could play at a higher level. We should have appointed o Driscoll or a more experienced manager. The club will not spend so don't get excited. We will stay up because the others will have a slump but we need to be more mobile than we are. We have to build a defensive base and we have nobody at he back who is good enough. Nobody in midfield creative enough and no speed up front so we can try and get behind he team but can anyone see us winning a game 2 nil.

Sorry whoever this is sayin joh only player who could make grade above is nonsense! Bacry sako Bacry Sako when he flies down the wing here the wolves fans sing bacry sako!

Sako is inconsistent and unable to stay in a game for long enough

Trouble is he only plays when he wants.

10 Feb 2013 16:20:04
Can't believe people slating Henry and Doyle yesterday they both had great games think some of you so called supporters watch a different game or don't understand football

Danny

If you think the CRAB had a good game Sat then its YOU that does NOT understand Football you Pilchard you. P. J.

They may have had great games in your opinion but explain to us about their effectiveness?

10 Feb 2013 16:18:04
Is Nigel aikins available sack Saunders now before we lose out on a proven manager.

10 Feb 2013 16:02:41
Well done Danny Batth, great goal to rescue a point!!!!!!!!!!

EBW

10 Feb 2013 14:17:43
Players, owners, managers will all come and go, yes they are all terrible at the moment, but we have got to get behind the club as it is the club we love, wolves forever worcester wolf,

10 Feb 2013 13:54:03
Heard that DS has had to cancel pancake day because our bunch of "players" can't even beat eggs. Ian H.

He would have been ok for t*ssers though!

10 Feb 2013 13:53:03
Saunders job is simple get rid of mad micks players yet again ward was awful berrra not much better Karl Henry captain even worse and the two up front just don't work.

Berra looked gutted when Batth scored yesterday I think he knew he's out the team when Johnsons back.

Hopefully he is but hold on a minute he's not left footed lol

10 Feb 2013 12:32:07
well seen in the s*n were talking to players to come on loan but are earning 60k a week whose he talking to qpr reserves lol

10 Feb 2013 11:19:37
I am afraid we are looking at the same old story under several managers the same faces serving up the same old dross. Until we get a manager that decides these players are not good enough (like in fairness Solbakken had done) then we are going nowhere. Well other than league 1. Deano keeps rolling out every week the same old statement in "we have players here that are good enough they just have lost the mental attitude to win games" sorry Dean but this is not good enough given our plight urgent action is now as required as it was on the 1st January and we let a whole window pass by with addressing anything 26 of these days you were in charge for and had watched DVD evidence to see where the failings are. In my opinion we will go down and then rebuild on a shoestring budget which I know you excel at but that is not what we want. This is my opinion on yesterday's side.

Ikeme (good season can't be faulted)

Foley (Not good enough as either a RB or RM squad player only)

Batth (revelation looks interested and keen to learn hope he stays in side when Johnson returns but no doubt he will be dropped and confidence will be shattered as he is not a senior player in the shop window for a summer sale)

Berra (turning speed of the titanic don't want to be here and I for one don't want him here get rid and in the meantime DROP!!

Ward (Not a left back. Everyone knows it except for a succession of 4 managers costs us goal after goal wish we had accepted the bid for him from forest and played either Hunt or Reckford LB for rest of season. I just hope that 1 of your loan signing is a LB)

O' Hara (class act BUT ONLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PARK should of played inside Pzesko instead of Henry)

Henry (Not as bad as people think but not 1st choice when O'Hara fit and maybe not even when Davis is available)

Doumbia (looks to have it all as a CM player but drifts too much in and out of games and always looks knackered. Is he fit? Well if not he again should not be playing in such a crucial role when we have a fit RM player not making the 18 and a CM playing wide right. Head scrather)

Sako (One luxury we can probably not afford to have as he can change/win a game with one swing of that magical wand like left foot)

Ebanks Blake (overweight - yes. However I dread to think where we would be without his goals so for the remainder of this season he has to be 1st choice striker)

Doyle (where to begin? Wish he had gone to Celtic on deadline day if I'm honest he just does not offer enough. Not a goal threat. No pace. Seems unable to stay upright! Work rate which seems to be the reason DS likes him is not enough given the position we are in we need a goal threat up top. Siggy is obviously not fancied by DS and to throw Cassidy in could ruin the kid keep him till next season. As with the Ward situation I hope one of Deans highlighted loan signings includes a striker with pace to compliment SEB and carry a goal threat)

Discuss.

I see so Stale recognised the players were not good enough but still played them every week and in fact got them to become even weaker.
Saunders has inherited the squad handed down to him but its his fault.
Stale had money to spend and Dean has had zilcho.

Quite an astute assessment of our players, I think in fairness to SS and Deano they can also see the weaknesses like most of us can. Now the problem is changing it, deano is criticised on here for saying that the present players are good enough when clearly they aren't, the alternative is to public ally say they are crap and we get relegated definitely or try and big them up and we may stay up.

I totally agreed bud no complaints from me atm sako an blake indespensible! Iv never liked doyle! Jus don't ever look like scoring! Only thing I would add is its far to early to call for deano's head! Needs a few windows (with funds avalible) as was with solbakken who I would of preferred but good post!
Siewolf

Well half of your assessment of players is crap. Doyle was our best player yesterday and all you do is moan (it's getting boring now) and if ward was brought as a lb you would say he is decent because truthfully he's ok. And foley is our only defender with class. can't be bothered to go through the rest because you obviously haven't got a clue

Yeh and the players that SS are the better players Sako, Doumbia when fit & Pzesko who is without doubt the best right midfielder in the club who Saunders does not even put on the bench. Explain? SS recognised this squad was not good enough and over this window just gone and the pre season window would have reshaped it. Saunders thinks the players we have are good enough now that's a big worry as for SS making players weaker most people will say RJ has been our player of the year so I see he made him weaker didn't he? Change is required and that will now not happen perhaps had we waited and seen through the "project" things would have changed. If you like the Saunders way then you are clearly saying the current squad is good enough. Get real it may have been 4 yrs ago with the motivating factor of MM but there not anymore and require changing.

Good post. I think sako is the luxury we can afford. My beef with Ebanks Blake is his inability to hold the ball up and bring other players into the game. If he does not score his contribution is zero, I would have accepted the offer. Doyle was class, maybe MM ruined him but he is not the player he was. time for him to move, more for his sake than the clubs.

So Doyle was our best player yesterday and ward is a decent LB is he? Well Doyle didn't play badly yesterday so what's he been doing for the other 30 games? As for Ward watch that most teams attack our left side because it's the weak link time and time again. No wonder you only read half of it as supporters like you only see half the picture and then talk like your an encylcepedia of football.

Staale knew he had to replace more players in January but the moaners drove him away. Just think where we could be now with a new striker and two new full backs.

We have a huge bunch of players but all the managers gave picked the same team over and over again #afraidtochangeit.

I'd like to see Doherty given a start in place of Foley, I'd like to Boukari given more game time when he comes back and Siggy needs to start. Looking forward to see who comes in this week.

10 Feb 2013 11:17:18
well he was in this same situation last season with donny and he didn't save them, no experence all he is is a cheap option for morgan

The problem I have is that most teams have moved on in terms of pass and move, watching Southampton beat city is one of many teams that have a plan and adapted, we on the other hand have gone backwards, it's not looking good and will take a lot to turn it around, Dean Saunders is not the answer.

10 Feb 2013 11:16:43
Wolves fans have got to be the worst bunch of fans I've ever seen and I'm one myself. Get behind em instead of winging and complaining we won't go down. Was at game yesterday so much negativity there's problems to wolves team. Ward Berra Doyle but we've got to live wig them til end of season. So get behind em for once bloody hell

I will get behind them when I srr 100% effort from them, until then I will tell them how it is!

You're right - whether we like it or not these are the lads we have to believe will keep us up - then start the team built around Danny baath who was excellent yesterday. Get behind them or we're definitely down.

10 Feb 2013 10:22:20
We all know the problem ( powder puff strikers) and a lest than average defence. We all know accept Morgan, Moxey and Saunders.

10 Feb 2013 10:08:32
come on morgan back deano or sack him, all talk and no action, need defenders, and a decent striker in the loan window wheres morgan, if we go down are you going to sell? or are you planning to sell allready?

10 Feb 2013 09:07:17
Anyone think Johnson's dismissal could be very costly. The emergence of Bathh with one more game to stake his place makes me think he could be sat warming the bench in a fortnight and ultamitely be the end come May of his association with Wolves. For those who think Berra will be the man to lose his place think again he is left-sided centre back the other two are both right-sided.

With wages they get our cbs should have left and right foot so then it would not matter which side they play

Johnson and Berra are crap so who cares

What really concerns me is the inconsistent clap trap that keeps coming out of the mouth of DS. Vis a vis " we can't defend to save our lives" vs " this squad of players is good enough to keep us up" : " we need to do something about this fast" vs " there was only one player during the transfer window that was worth paying the extra for" : " if we don't concede we don't lose" vs " we don't defend set pieces, corners, free kicks and? goalkicks?" or words to that effect. Is this man for real? It has been apparent for three seasons that Wolves are defensively weak and NONE of our Managers have done anything about it, unless of course defense starts with wingers - I don't think so. Why then was it necessary for DS to take so much time to evaluate the squad only to get it wrong? Now he's having to admit it and make moves in panic. The latest revelation is that he is after two players currently earning £60 to£ 70,000 a week. Did he really mean 60-70p and he got it wrong again, more likely this is Wolves mindset. If there is not clarity and consistency of thought then it is highly unlikely that the problems will be solved. You can't hit a target if you don't know where it is.

That's because DS is a moron! He's a rabbit caught in the headlights and he seriously doesn't have a clue what's going on or how to sort it! If we stay up it will be more about luck than judgement!

If you think Saunders is a bad manager then look at the three we had before him.

Sorry but mick got us up in case you forgot. Got it wrong at the end unfortunately. That's opened the door for all you mick haters!

10 Feb 2013 07:25:36
I say take the positives move on. The win is coming and that will then give us the platform to move up table. Yes were out of the bottom 3 on goal difference, its serious. But would any of the clubs around us seriously not take our squad over there's - if these players were performing to their capability week in week out we would not be in this mess. The last two weeks have seen us mix it up with two of the stronger sides in the division and neither occasion have we looked any worse than them. Loan in a proper left back, swap the keepers and relieve Sako of any defensive duties putting him off the top man equalling no Doyle then watch us climb up the table.

Our squad is full of overpaid halfwits who don't give a toss!

We need to make it part of Sako's contract to stay out of the box - liability when defending!
