This is reliable who ever gets the managers job will be told that the backroom staff are staying also if nice gets the job my source will hand his notice in
They dont want to change staff because they are ether friends or family . its jobs or the boys wether they are good or bad just like the catering

I'm not really sure about the Director of Football role. If we get a manager that knows his stuff we really don't need a DoF. We certainly don't need him in a line position i.e. with the manager reporting directly to him, recipe for disaster. At best in an advisory position to the chair/board. Sort of a counter weight to support Jez and Morgan in matters football. But in reality if we get the right man it's just an unnecessary extra.
The post makes sense but that was the view 5-6 years ago but the role has more clarity now especially when we have two buffoons such as M&M who can't make a footballing decision, this takes some of the pressure of him I think
Think we need somebody on the board who knows about football - that has just been proved. DofF would put a lot of managers off (as it probably has already.)

AMBITION
First off, you aint down yet although it dont look good, but if you go for Curbishley,and let,s face it he aint exactly set the world on fire the last couple of years has he ? you will be stuck with another t.c for the forseeable future at least in the close season you will have more of a choice for manager rather than knee jerk reactions,
Ain't down? We need a miracle along the lines of that other famous Easter story to stay up.
If the miracle happens then we still need a new manager. TC for next season would be excrutiating.
If we want a DoF why don't we appoint one now and then our future manager will know what he's coming into and who he is expected to work with - otherwise this stalemate will continue.
Wilkins for DoF Anyone ?
I think a dof at any football club would bring its own difficulties why would we want wilkins as dof
Why wouldn't we, a decent honourable man, great football knowledge respects our history. Highly thought of great contacts could also coach and could develop our academy and wouldn't divide the supporters and would work for the manager

hope to god we can keep kightly and adlene, kightly has looked very good in the last month and gueds has been excellent in the championship
