Four centre backs on the market and who will we get? Mawson is on his way to the Cottage, Mina 30m+, Rojo 25m+, Pepe 6m.
This is a no brainer!
Pepe is a liability. Rojo is not worth that amount. Mina has age, height, strength all in his favour.
We should go out on a limb to get him. even if it's 40m+. The guy is a tower of strength.
But I'll still back Nuno's decision.
What do you think guys?

{Ed004's Note - If Wolves intend to play a back 3 I think Rojo could be a very astute signing}

1.) 30 Jul 2018 17:42:21
Wolfe, there's 100% no Chance Mina will come to Wolves when he's already said "I want to go to Man Utd".
I'd have Rojo as he's already got Premier league Experience, Pepe is a Massive liability.

2.) 30 Jul 2018 17:46:16
Rojo is top of that list for me, quality player.

3.) 30 Jul 2018 18:00:01
I agree with Wolfie22. Yerry Mina is far and away the best of that bunch. Imagine him one side, Boly on the other and Coady in between! Oh and Rui Patricio behind! Now THAT is a very very decent defence.

I understand Mina has said he wants to play for Man U. I always wanted to play for Wolves and England. Just because you say you want something it doesn’t mean it happens.

4.) 30 Jul 2018 18:06:42
Watch us get Mangala or Lindelof on loan for the season instead.

5.) 30 Jul 2018 18:12:57
Lindelof had an excellent World Cup.

6.) 30 Jul 2018 18:34:16
Danny Batth better than all of those mentioned.

7.) 30 Jul 2018 18:54:15
Lindelof'take him all day long.

8.) 30 Jul 2018 19:09:44
I'd be happier with Lindelof instead of Pepe! I do think we are missing a trick with Mawson despite the reported £20m price tag though. But it's Nuno's view that counts!

9.) 30 Jul 2018 19:37:44
Stu Rojo only played 9 games fore manu last season and got 7 yellow cards imo to big a risk.

10.) 30 Jul 2018 19:50:37
Das your last paragraph made me laugh I also wanted to play for Wolves and England but I agree Mina is the one for me, but unfortunately it’s not my decision.

11.) 30 Jul 2018 19:53:40
Mina won't go to Man Utd if they sign McGuire first.
I agree with some that I'd also take Rojo but. only if Mina is out of the equation.

12.) 30 Jul 2018 23:41:52
Mina too expensive for us, Rojo far too injury-prone and a sending-off waiting to happen.

I am not totally enthusiastic about Traore and at roughly £20m, there is better value elsewhere. Invest in Yerry Mina at £30+, we have wide men already. Shore the back up and Mina, what a great acquisition he'd be for set pieces.
Also, these worried fans about lack of signings. I would sooner be in our boat than those down at Fulham. £42m for Mitrovic and Mawson? Now who's getting desperate.
Oh, desperate brings me to the Vile. How petty is Bruce and that whole set-up down at B6. Sorry fat man, Wolves then Forest are before you in the queue.
Wolves 2 Everton 0.

1.) 31 Jul 2018 14:19:16
Please, can someone explain? Douglas 5 goals 14 assists Afobe 6 goals sold Cavelrio 9 goal 12 assists possible being sold and so far no players with better records coming in, can anyone explain the logic and why do some people think we will finish top ten, just asking.

2.) 31 Jul 2018 16:43:27
Should have kept Douglas and Afobe and definitely need to keep Cav.

3.) 31 Jul 2018 16:57:59
Cav isn't going his in wolves plans.

4.) 31 Jul 2018 19:49:38
I can explain quite easily.
Douglas sold for disciplinary reasons (don’t piss Nuno off) replaced by Jonny
Afobe was never in nunos plans, isn’t the kind of striker we need and not good enough for prem. replaced by Jiminez.
Cav will not be sold.

5.) 31 Jul 2018 21:10:34
Let's see what we end up with after Aug 9th?

6.) 01 Aug 2018 12:41:45
Thanks, Manc Wolf for the info so we have replaced Afobe with Jimenez who scored 8 goals last season and replaced Douglas with a player who scored 3 goals in 183 games at his previous club. Sorry still do not see the logic, but you never know, in Nuno we trust.

7.) 01 Aug 2018 13:09:36
Afobe failed in the Prem with Bournemouth. No reason to think he would do better with us.

If Douglas is so good and went so cheaply, why did a Prem team not come in for him?

Answers on a postcard please.

8.) 01 Aug 2018 13:39:41
We will never know, still look on the bright side we still have Batth.

JDB and the Iceland squad. What a marvellous gesture. Full respect to you all. Hope you make the last 16.

Ivan Cavaliero - go or stay? If the Terriers or anyone else come up with £15m, snap their hands off.
Nuno and Jorge will have players of a better quality ready for the premier league.
Don't judge Patricio, Jimenez or Guedes on their performances so far. It isn't long ago that we were saying Coady can go, take the £2m. We must support and trust the boss in all that he does.
Having said that, I would like Jose, de Souza, Abate, Patricio, Wilshere (not on that wage though), A Silva, Pele to complement our squad.

1.) 18 Jun 2018 12:40:13
What have Iceland done?

2.) 18 Jun 2018 13:55:33
Took time out to wear shirts with IKEME emblazoned on them and wish him well. And they play Nigeria this week.

3.) 18 Jun 2018 14:46:23
Absolute class by JDB and the Iceland squad. Total respect to these guys. Hope they have a great World Cup.

4.) 18 Jun 2018 16:12:36
What JDB did today with his teammates was absolute class - well done to the squad, total respect 👏.

Last night Borussia Dortmund had 25,000 stay away from the Westfalenstadion in protest at the rearranged fixture v Augsborg. Fans don't want to be dictated to and have their weekends drawn out into Mondays for televised purposes.
But in this country we seem to accept whatever the FA throw at us.

I am writing this in response to the decision to move our game at Cardiff to a Friday night. Fans, not just of our great club but all over the UK should unite and boycott these Friday and Monday night games.

1.) 27 Feb 2018 09:04:25
Good luck with that one . 👍.

2.) 27 Feb 2018 10:56:40
Nice idea but in reality will most likely never happen imo.
We have drawn 2 and lost 1 in the last 3games and its pandemodium with the so called wolf pack with wolves fans split. I will just cheer the team on as always sod everyone else if they want to bitch amongst each other!

Yesterday I woke at 04.30, drove down to Bristol to see my grandson, had breakfast in Wetherspoons, met up with friends before the match.
What I witnessed in the next two hours was unbelievable.
Was that really the Wolves that I had been watching the last 51 years?
Where did that fight, teamwork and passion come from?
I was pinching myself. Were my eyes deceiving me?
This was a performance that rates up there with the best of them.
Thank you davetcb's mum!
God bless you.

Thank you Fosun, Nuno, the staff, the players, the backroom team for keeping us believing.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year.

And to all those amazing fans, hold on tight, the ride is only going to get more amazing.

Have a great 2018!

Wolfie yesterday started off a sad reflective day for obvious reasons, but thanks to a football team that represents my city by the end of it we had tears in our eyes not just for Mom but for the sheer elation of a football team we all love winning a game of football.
Thank you Wolves, Nuno, players Fosun, Fans everyone for making a sad day for our family end in tears of joy.

GodBless Wolfpack.

No thank you. But James Rodriguez yes please.
I think Wilshere is our next big signing.

Appreciate your view Wolves 011 but Nick Pope has just signed a new long-term contract.
I do honestly believe someone will be plucked out the blue. You're probably right. But they would be my selections.

These sites with their "Wolves need to sign *****" predictions makes me cringe.
BALOTELLI - you're having a laugh. GREALISH - never never never. VYDRA - we're not going backwards. AFOBE - the jury is still out. BONATINI - love the guy but is he right for us in the prem?

Please bring BOLY, ABOUBAKAR, MADDISON, TALISCA, HEATON into the pack.

You cannot be serious, Anew dawn?
Balotelli? He is dreadful. A spoilt, selfish brat. Against PSG at the weekend. Corners terrible, free kicks clearing the stand, easily brushed off the ball, sulking. Never wants to pass. Even Nice fans were booing him.

I'd sooner have Akinfenwa!

I was a 15yo travelling from Rushden to home games back in 67. My mother would give me £3, train return from Northampton, 3/ 4 beers in the pub, a bite to eat, admission and programme. And I gave her change that night.
Oh, those were the days!

With you Dougan. From what I've seen so far, I can't be having A Silva or Guedes. Carvalho would be my choice. Does anyone know the situation with Bost at Sporting? It's all very quiet on him. All the rebels names being banded about except his. food for thought. So very happy to have Rui in our team. What an acquisition.
And Romain Saiss ain't too bad either 😊.

Here here to all the comments. They deserved what they got. f***** nothing. I don't care if we don't see the other three for many a year. The time is now, the time is ours.
Mind the gap.

Can't stop laughing.
