Stearman may not be the best defender but he was a very good player for us and had a very good relationship with Batth and they seemed to bring each others game up a level. What he will bring is passion and commitment.

I think Stearman like any defender will look good in a team that is not under constant pressure - from here on Wolves will be the team dishing it out - he will be good for us, relax. I appeal to all those not convinced that he be given a very warm welcome back when he takes to the pitch. He is home town and never wanted to leave, he was a victim of Morgan's asset stripping from which we have all surely suffered.
