Wolves are looking at bringing in Man City outcast John Guidetti but will face competition from Feyenoord and Burnley.

TotalFooty

1.) Lot of rumours related to forwards linked to us meanwhile one that we 'had' is interesting Blackburn, one of our rivals and Everton, a step up from where we stand. Be interesting to see where Max Clayton plays this year.

2.) Another player who we've been too stingy to get in, will turn out to be outstanding for another club! Along with Brighton, we've got to be the stingiest club in the Championship!

3.) He's rated at £4.5million and Feyenoord are believed to have tabled an offer in the region of that. So I'd say this is unlikely.

4.) Of course if they don't manage to get a deal agreed he'd be a great player to bring in. Maybe on a loan to buy deal similar to the deals for Henry and Jacobs last season?

5.) Going to Celtic

There should be an announcement in a week or so confirming the signing of Harry Kane on a season loan from Spurs.

TotalFooty

1.) The board are not showing a lack of ambition, far worse a situation where we are back in the premiership in a league where they as directors have proved they cannot compete . Shocking thing FEAR.

2.) Are you joking? wishful thinking I think! Harry kane won't be leaving spurs, He is already proving himself in that team so why would it make sence to loan him out? even if he was up for loan it would be to a premier team, not us.

3.) No Motty he isn't joking this deal could be on

4.) Kane is currently spurs most effective striker this will not happen.

5.) Has anything that the OP posted so far come true?

6.) Hope he's right were desperate for a striker! Been promoted since middle of April and we still haven't brought a striker in! KJ drop Edwards and Evans for Fulham game!

7.) We don't have a proven goal scorer and yet you want Kenny to drop Edwards who one of our better goal getters. That doesn't make much sense.

8.) You want to drop Edwards because he made a mistake which led to the Rotherham goal Paul tamworth? Edwards won us the game against Norwich and he scores goal regularly now, belive me next time he put the ball in row Z

9.) I'd drop Edwards for Jacobs every week.

10.) Price in for Evans definitely. Not sure about dropping Edwards, but if KJ does you'd expect the replacement to be Jacobs. Chris Wood justified not joining us, scored the equaliser for Leicester against Everton. Fair play to him!

Don't know who we'll pursue as a striker now. We've been talking about Bamford and now Kane. Can't really see why Spurs would loan Kane out as he's going to be 2nd or 3rd choice striker probably.

11.) 18 Aug 2014 12:28:21
Kenny says he wants midfielders who score. That's why Edwards is in the team, although I agree Jacobs is the better playmaker. Price next to McDonald shouldn't be dismissed either. But most importantly we need a striker who is at least as good as Dicko because the alternatives currently are not.

12.) Bamford having medical at boro today according to sky

13.) I can't believe we have missed out on another forward Bamford no ambition we neeed to srengthen know Norwich have brought in Jerome and cuellar how come all the other clubs do this with ease.Moxey and Morgan out you can't keep blaming the bomb squad after all your own fault for putting them on massive contracts disgrace.

14.) What did you expect? Tamworth never sees the big picture only the last result! Hence happy clapper one day, doom monger the next!

15.) What I see is a real lack of ambition! Hate to think what's going to happen when the parachute payments stop!

16.) 21 Aug 2014 05:30:39
I won't hear a word against Edwards. I love Jacobs but when all our 'Heros' left us or decided to get lazy he stuck around through all his injures and hardships. He's giving 100% to wolves and is making an impact every game. Edwards is an exceptional player with a lot of heart and a lot more to give.

17.) Completely agree about Edwards YungWolf

Max Clayton close to signing for Wolves for 750k + McAlinden going to Crewe on loan.

If correct then this would be a really good deal for both clubs. Also, Macca spending a season at Crewe would be a wonderful learning experience at a club that is renowned for bringing youngsters through very successfully

2.) Max Clayton deal is off

The rumours circulating Twitter about Chris Wood rejecting a deal to sign for Wolves are untrue, a fee has been agreed and they are officially finalising the move, the deal SHOULD be confirmed by Thursday so expect some news, he is highly keen on the move to Wolves aswell and it looks like everything is going smoothly, the rumours on twitter are just lies that have been repeated by people that do not have any idea what is happening, also hearing that Liam McAlinden is being chased by Yeovil, Swindon Town and Walsall for a loan deal.

TotalFooty

1.) Hearing handful clubs now hovering for his signature, looks highly we will miss out.

2.) Paper thin squad!! Tonight is the proof in the puddin!!!

3.) This night is now becoming a sick joke year on year

4.) Have we actually won a cup game with Morgan in charge??

5.) Kenny has come out and said he worn be signing and official wolves twitter have said the same. So there more than rumours!

Massively gutted he's not signing would have been a great signing and boost for the team.

Hope we actually go and sign someone and not use are usual Moto of we tried but they didn't want to come etc

Hopefully have other decent targets lined up and not make silly bids like wat we did for Clarke. Who was okay at best today. Mccary was awful I would loan him out and get a back up keeper in not good enough yet!

Good game sloppy at times and disappointed but this happens last year and we had a great season so hopefully do the same that's more important.

Just hope we sign someone decent

6.) Deals off. Jacketts said its unlikely. The board have messed up big time

7.) I seriously hope that you are right

8.) When people talk about not paying that little bit more to pick up Wood, I think they have in mind something like slip him a tenner and pay for his beer. Both West Brom and Leicester confirmed this a championship player at best. Jackett knows his worth and he also knows that we still have to keep paying the bomb squad. Our future lies with kids and that requires patience.

9.) A striker rejected by West Brom - hmmm maybe missing out on him isn't a good idea!

seriously though his scoring record isn't great and I'm sure we can do better (I'd prefer to tie up the Max Clayton deal and sign one other promising striker).

Hearing strong rumours that 25 Year Old Genk Striker Jelle Vossen is due a medical at Wolves next week ahead of a 1.25 Million Pound move.

TotalFooty

1.) He's meant to be signing for Middlesbrough

2.) Jelle Vossen is going to Boro - Genk have just knocked back a 3.2 mill bid & Vossen want sto join them.

Wolves could be willing to splash out 5 Million in January for MK Dons midfield wonderkid Dele Alli.

TotalFooty

1.) Haha more like £10 million, he's off to a prem club

2.) Your joking Morgan won't spend that kind of money, if he spent that much it would have to be a striker who scores goals its clear to any wolves fan we are going nowhere without striker the Brighton match first half was awful years away to wanting to get in prem which we should be aiming for instead of shopping at pound land if we keep signing players like we have signed we will be stuck with them and we won't be able to sell them like the last group of players k.j. as to sort it out quickly and get settled side

3.) No Morgan will not spend that kind of money and quite rightly too.
I'm glad he won't spend silly money as at least I know the club I love is in safe hands financially and isn't at risk of going under.
I really wonder if some people have extremely short memories and have forgotten about the Bhatti brothers days?

4.) We have gone better than those dark days when the bhatti bros. Were in control, wake up we have everything in place, except a football team all it needs is investment in players e.g. look at Everton f.c.they have football team but wish they had our stadium, not being funny but time waits for nobody so Morgan complete the job you started and make wolves a top club again you have the money so, repeat stop shopping in poundland after players we will be stuck with and have same trouble again trying to sell because the signings of Rowe and savile have not impressed me and Edwards would only be a good sub in my team c.h. with pace and striker who can score goals 15 to 20 a season and a mid. Needed urgently

5.) 27 Dec 2014 07:12:05
I'm more with rko in this. Morgan shouldn't overspend in case we still don't see success and the club becomes worthless. If it was that easy to buy success he would have done it. But I don't want that anyway. I prefer our academy model and getting to see players promoted to the first team.

6.) Those disagreeing must be related to the Bhatti brothers ;)
