Williamson subject to medical in. Golbourne out. Mason deal in balance. Bradshaw not happening. Henry linked with Prem so not going to happen.

What's next?

I expect one more deal to be done and a further loan. Permanent deal to be another winger.

Hause or Rowe at LB? Docherty right footed LB?

Williamson to partner Bathh.

Saville to start in a middle 3, in place of Edwards. Price remaining on sidelines.

Henry and RVLP (and Rowe/ Ismail if winger not found for right deal)

Le Fondre and Sigi/ Zyro (when fit) to share responsibility upfront. In next few weeks cameos for Bright.

I agree with the opinion we will do enough to stay safe but the season will be done come end of March. Nothing to play for.

Totally agree. Even if we sign these players we will need a substantial investment again in the summer. I reckon Morgan will do that because if we go up the value of the club will rocket.

2.) 28 Jan 2016 14:36:53
Sol Bamba £2 million Leeds defender heavily linked with Wolves, also a target of Newcastle and Sunderland. Would presumably partner Williamson, leaving Batth having to take an early one.

I still think that the other striker Jackett is hinting at is Zach Clough as I just can't see the club passing up the opportunity to pass up a money making player like that. I also think, like everybody else, that Bradshaw isn't versatile enough for Jackett's taste.

Heard a lot of people mentioning LB positions and don't watch Byrne great wing back so he can play in the left back position and with his pace over lapping the winger can only be positive. I think Byrne is a great player, he may get his chance now due to injuries.

5.) 28 Jan 2016 20:58:05
Byrne was 100% bought at a future right wing back to cover Iorfa, this is why Henry still plays ahead of him. although not now, Iorfa will definitely be going to a Premiership club in the summer.

Buckley on radar. We have approached Sunderland to take him on season long loan with view to a 1 mill permanent deal. Sunderland looking for permanent deal now.

If Buckley signs it would see end of Henry. With Van Parra, Wallace and him fighting out for the two wide positions. With the youngsters as back up.

KJ will also revert to the trusted 4-2-3-1 once he has the players fit and available.

If Hoddle is interested we should snap him up now.

If not, could Warburton be tempted south of border? With Barton being given a reprieve makes you wonder whether he has the full support of the board.

Totally agree Pad 02 l've been saying Hoddle or Warburton for ages, Hoddle l feel would get the best from Wolves now with the calibre of players we in for now, also Warburton great jpb at Brentford, also got Rangers promoted, would be over the moon with either one of these.

2.) 04 Nov 2016 15:50:11
If Glenda is THAT brilliant, why has he never managed since leaving Wolves all those years ago? Just wondering.

3.) 04 Nov 2016 19:44:53
Hoddle? What r u smoking? He walked out on us 2 weeks before season started! He can keep away!

4.) 04 Nov 2016 20:16:15
Don't want Glen 'one-all' back - boring, boring, boring and remember the missing piece of the jigsaw Frankowski - great signing!

5.) 04 Nov 2016 20:27:58
Would never have Hoddle back what he done on Wolves, when the going got tough he soon left.
What about that Polish striker he signed saying it was the missing piece in the jig saw and he never scored a goal.
Another England manager who found the Wolves job to hard for him.

6.) 04 Nov 2016 22:17:42
Glenn Hoddle?! No offence but for those looking to get him in charge. I don't wanna know what happened you in your previous life!

Afobe, while he has been a good striker, never in my opinion has hit the heights of other strikers we've lost in past. Will he be a success in Prem, I'm not sure. I like Eddie Howe but think 10mill (if this is the figure) is at least double his worth and he's got this all wrong. As many of you have mentioned Washington and Bradshaw have been netting in League 1, this only where Afobe was picked up from. Where I accept experience is key in between the sticks, at the heart of the defence and in centre of midfield, I think the unknown element of a striker is sometimes worth the punt.

For me, we should be targeting:

1. Washington of Posh replacement for Afobe
2. Williamson of Newcastle replacement for Bathh (controversial I know but would improve us immensely and would be perfect partner for Hause or Iorfa in central position)
3. A left footed LB to replace Golbourne - Deslandes will do as back up. Adam Smith of Liverpool would be perfect on loan till end of season. Doubt Liverpool will trust us with one of their promising youngsters after Ojo.

Think the fact we are hunting out an RB means Iorfa's days could be numbered.

If all is well.

Doc Iorfa Williamson Smith

McDonald Coady

Graham Henry Zyro

Time to get the Gallagher deal over the line. and let him bring the magicians behind him into the game with his link up play and of course reap the rewards with 15-20 goals. Final piece of the jigsaw. I certainly think so.
For those fans out there which are concerned we are not even half way there with the intensity which will follow when the whistle blows for the start of the season.
Costa, Jota, Neves - on the pitch together. mouth watering.
And if Coady does not have captains armband come start of season I will be a little disappointed. This scouse lad has come good finally.

Ruddy

Boly Coady Bathh

Doherty Ronan Neves Douglas

Will line up against Boro injury permitting.

Bathh and Doherty first team starts will short lived beyond first month or so.

Front 3 will feature 2 newbees still not on our books with Dicko for opening fixture.

Prince, Evans and Mason to leave, with a number of the young lads loaned out either till Xmas or after till end of season. The one surprise I think will be Saiss being moved on either this window or next.

Loan market will see a couple come in - one GK and back up striker.

Henry is obviously going.

Sako has passed any opportunity to return by turning down the opportunity to train with the first teamers in France. Beneteke leaving Villa will play into his hands and they will panic and meet his demands. Unveiling and next weeks friendly?

KMac is an interesting one, KJ wants him but for one reason or another this has stalled. KMac either wants to play for us or he doesn't. If he goes I am not sure we will replace, Evans will just remain at club rather than go out on loan.

I sure hope that we do not go backwards and miss out on playoffs again.

While it is great to see youth given its chance, these kids have got to hit the ground as first teamers running.
