Waowee! Was at this fixture in 03 and won 4.3 with Camara tapping in the winner! This betters that!

2.) 19 Jan 2019 15:26:10
Great game to watch. Apart from crazy 10 mins at start of second half. Going forward we look scary. Had a prawn curry on the beach, a few beers, and saw this from hotel balcony on sky Tata. Great but would have swapped for the Mol.

What a fantastic game, nerve wracking, edge of your seat entertaining game. What was our defence doing? We needed that result for sure. Great game to watch for the neutral! Rui has to do something with his distribution, it’s not good. bad day st the office. Well done to all the boys and Nuno. our usual balance at the back was suspect throughout the game. We missed WB and the balance of Doherty at the back even though he came on as a sub.
⚽️😉👍.

4.) 19 Jan 2019 19:04:07
Nuno sent off! Klopp same thing same ref v Everton why?

5.) 19 Jan 2019 20:28:03
Hopefully Wolves will ask the FA/ PL to explain.

6.) 19 Jan 2019 21:17:32
They will probably just make up some excuse such as he felt Nuno was inciting the Leicester fans and Klopp wasn't. Wont be true but anything will do for the unelected governers of our great game.
They will still get their pay packets.

7.) 19 Jan 2019 21:29:43
Wonder what Tammy thinking now
Good decision to stop at vile
Who needs ya
Enjoy the fizzy pop league.

8.) 20 Jan 2019 11:13:28
Great game😍 Neves forget 100 million price tag, he's priceless! Welll done Jota and and all 👍Strongest team possible for cup please Nuno, win this one were in last 16 👍.

9.) 20 Jan 2019 11:37:33
Couldn't agree more Paul, but, don't want neves jota etc. Kicked to death! What to do? In Nuno we'll trust.

10.) 20 Jan 2019 11:56:19
We have our dream team now and a bench with Costa Cav Traore Saiss (when Boly is playing) Ruddy MGW who are decent players and will probably line up against Shrewsbury

Do we still want another striker? That would make six so only if one is moved out I guess.

11.) 20 Jan 2019 18:50:30
Jotta 5th booking.

I know that we have been linked this transfer window with nearly every footballer that has ever kicked a ball, especially strikers. I see that Vydra's move from Derby to Leeds has fallen through and I wondered what others thought about him as a potential signing. He has consistently done it at Championship level and scored a lot of goals last season despite having a lengthy injury absence. Not necessarily a long term solution but I guess it is all about getting through this season and he may be a quick fix for goals the way Ricky Lambert was at Southampton.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Sheffield Wednesday in the playoffs as their manager, Carlos Carvahil, ticks all the boxes, Portugese with Championship experience.

I know his name came up some months ago and if Wednesday don't go up he may fancy a new challenge. Surely much better than the name that is being mentioned at the moment, the guy with more clubs than Zenga.

I feel totally underwhelmed with the vast majority of people being linked with the vacancy and it is clear that a strong character is needed to clear up this mess. Personally I don't think big Sam is interested and although Chris Hughton would be ideal why would he want to leave Brighton? I know many would question my sanity but I do feel that it may be time to have Mad Mick back. Never a great Premier League manager to me but he is one of the best Championship managers and could certainly turn this shower around. He has brought stability to Ipswich with no investment and I have no doubt that with the financial investment that Fosun have to offer he could bring a smile back to our faces. When I heard the likes of Pearson, Freedman, Lambert etc mentioned with the post I knew it was time to go back to the Future and these are all a lot worse than Mick at this level.

Paul great post mate. Unfortunately the only viable candidates available with championship experience are the ones you mention. There will be many upset fans on any appointment. Paul Clement has not been mentioned. My vote so far goes to mad mick!

2.) 31 Oct 2016 09:14:50
MM will never bring a smile to my face he has proved conclusively he is not a Premiership manager, he does not have the necessary qualities. Yes I agree one of the best ever for the Championship, OK use him to get out then ditch him because I and many many more will not pay a penny to watch him flounder in the Premier he just is not that good.

I am a first time poster and felt motivated to post after hearing that Dougie Freeman is the favourite to be the new manager. He was an average player and his record shows he is a below average manager. We now need someone with a successful record in this division, if the board doesn't go for Sam Allardyce then they should consider forking out for Chris Hughton. He has done a great job at Brighton and his previous managerial record is also good. Another option is Gary Rowett who has also done fantastically well at the Blues. These are two managers who are showing how to do it in the Championship, we can not afford to gamble on another foreign manager unless Benitez fancies a change of scenery! Go for Freeman and I fear another stint in League 1.

We are still lacking a Plan B, the two central midfielders, Neves and Moutinho are too similar, and looks like teams in the bottom half are overcrowding them and giving them no space. Is it worth playing Saiss or Dendoncker alongside Neves for a period to see if that gives a little more steel and protection. The defence looks all over the place tonight and we know that Cardiff will not give them any rest on Friday, As for the frontline just not enough threat, too many bad days recently and something different is needed, it is time to put Ashley-Seal on the bench we kno that Bonatini is finished.

Some hypocrisy in your comments Bridgo, Douglas was class but in the Championship, Bonatini could be better than Adobe! We saw Bonatini in the Championship had a great first half of the season., but we all know about the second. At the end of the day Nuno gets paid to make the decisions and I personally would like to have seen Douglas given the same opportunity as Bonatini will get to play in the Premier League. Time will tell as to how it works out but I have no doubt that Nuno has other irons in the fire and will make changes if needed.

It’s a shame that fans can’t express a different opinion from you and then are considered negative. I expressed an opinion in relation to the signing of Bonatini, basest on facts. It is only a few weeks ago that both Don Goodman and Stevie Bull were saying that Afobe should be given a chance in the Premier League. I suppose you will call them arm chair supporters as well, because they didn’t agree with Nuno! I have been a Wolves fan for 45 years and have seen more tears than cheers. I love what Nuno has done and am proud to have him as our manager but football is about opinions and how many people on this site were actually saying buy Bonatini before his signing was announced, we all thought they were looking elsewhere! I.

I fully agree with Bigwolf in relation to his comments on Dendoncker. He certainly looks the ideal utility player comfortable in midfield or defence. Is he a better long term solution than Ryan Bennett? I certainly think his recent performances have been excellent and you can see why he has been a regular member of the Belgium squad.

I feel sorry for Traore because he is being used as the lone striker recently and that is certainly not his best position. I would like to see how he performs if we had a natural goal scorer playing alongside him, otherwise I don’t see him being here next season as he won’t score many goals himself.

Nuno never fails to astound me, when I saw the team sheet and leaving out our two best players against Fulham, Saiss and Mutiniho I was surprised but he has shown why he is one of the top managers in the Premier League. Brilliant second half, wonderful team and incredible manager, I hope hie keeps me eating my words for the rest of the season 😃😃.

I am quite happy to eat my words, but you haven’t mentioned the fact that I said that he had to change things and start Gibbs-White, he is making Jimenez look a much better player, Nuno found his Plan B when he brought him in. Thank you for only bringing up the one line that suited you Wolfe 22😬.

Wolfe22, I cannot agree with you I thought Jimenez was poor for the second game in a row, again he failed to hold the ball up, he may not look that bad because those around him are also performing poorly. This team is going to struggle to get any points between now and Christmas, and there are not enough options within the squad. Teams are finding them out and we have now lost to two tteams in the relegation zone within a week by being overpowered in the midfield. Our summer transfer business doesn’t look that good now does it!
