Vinagre is the type of player we would be trying to bring in especially for 10million. Maybe a loan to another team who play a similar formation.

The way I see it is that Wolves are already over the £27million they are allowed to lose (only if the owners write off that debt) over a 3 year period just from the last 12 months accounts. That means they have to break even over the next 2 years as we’ve already reached our max overspend. However Wolves will get an extra 10+million from Europa league prize money. At least an extra 14million from Premier league prize money compared to last year. Sale of Costa 15million+ and hopefully recoup some of the fee we paid for Cutrone. The FFP relaxing of rules due to the virus will only help balance the books regarding loss of match day revenue for the games after the return. Wolves will have no problem signing players as long as we don’t spend like we did last season. £85million ish on forward players was spent last season! WOLVES ARE ON THE MARCH but we need to build carefully and be patient.

We would be a lot worse without Coady unless we played a different system. He’s the modern day sweeper. His job is to try and cover PatrÃcio who rarely comes off his line and organise the 5 man defence. He should have 2 centre backs and 2 wing backs or others dropping in capable of clearing up. He’s then there to pick out those long range passes. (imagine us without those passes) Its easy picking out players when we play terrible but last night the whole team let us down.

I want it to be announced so I can stop googling it every 10 minutes! As for selling Traore, he’s on the verge of being a 70-80 million pound player. There really is nothing like him and he’s still only 24!

Doherty will be a flop because he’s being played at rb! He was an ok championship rb for us but only excelled when deployed at rwb. I’d imagine Mourinho switching to a back 3 soon which will then get the best out of Doherty. I wish them both luck just not when they play us.

The truth is that we have to sell to build with FFP standing firmly in our way. Who’d have thought we’d be in a position to sell 70 million worth of players and still have heaps of talent at our club. I’d expect a top quality wing back to come in soon.
