Does anyone else think that the longer we wait the more likely it seems we are waiting for other clubs to do deals first? This would limit the field of who's likely to come in. Will be interesting to see what happens if Leicester get the Kramaric deal over the line in regards to Chris Wood.
Tom Ince would be just what we need with Sako gone for the time being, or Knockaert. Would love to see Guedioura back as well, he looked class whenever I saw him for Watford. Depends if Pardew rates him!
And just throwing my another name out there that I haven't seen on this board yet, Jesse Lingard from Man U? He's really rated by Man U fans although I'm not entirely sure what his injury status is at the moment.

Bhatt is far and away a better and more reliable defender than Stearman. :s. He's been playing left sided CB which is an unnatural position for him. Stears often catches the eye because of last ditch tackles and throwing himself in front of shots. But more often than not he's salvaging situations of his own making. Plus his performances in the last month have been really poor. He was also extremely fortunate that Ebanks-Landell got injured when he did before Xmas. I don't think we will strengthen the defence but if we do it'll be a left CB to partner Batth.
Completely throwing a name out there but Dielna from Sheff Weds? think jackett will trust e-l and Hause personally.

Having read it, sounds like pure clickbait to me. west brom need a winger, we have a good one out of contract in the summer, hey this will make a good story. Can't imagine we'd sell him to them unless they made a silly bid, I mean we can't completely ignore ffp. If that's not the case though, surely it's better to keep him and risk losing him on a free in the summer? he'd have a big role in any promotion push and I'm guessing he'd stay if we won promotion?

To be honest I think I'd go all Mike Bassett on Sunday and play 4-4-f***ing 2. Get back to basics. If I was manager I would play (assuming ebanks-landell is injured) :
Ikeme
Doherty, Batth, Ricketts, Golbourne,
v la parra, evans, saville, sako,
dicko, graham.
Subs: Kusczcak, Stearman, Rowe, McDonald, Edwards, Henry, Clarke (?)
[Ricketts at Left CB as he's more natural in that position than Stears or Batth, McDonald needs resting, Rowe is pretty interchangeable with Saville and Graham needs someone with pace up alongside him].
