both rui pedro Silva and rui Barbosa for the past 3 years have lived in the same place they have just asked if they can just have a 3 month extension on there lease rather than the full year!

Also danny loader has been looking at apartments in wolverhampton with his girlfriend.

I have no idea who your source is or if there is anything in that at all.

But to be completely honest I wouldn't say I'm exactly comfortable that Nuno is running into the last year of his deal without any extension. Nor sign of one yet. I hope this is sorted sooner rather than later

We need him more than he needs us with how he has performed. Just my opinion.

2.) 04 Jun 2020 12:30:34
I thought Nuno said he wouldn't discuss a new contract until the season had finished.

3.) 04 Jun 2020 13:29:13
Deep down I myself nor many others expect Nuno to leave. but regardless of how the season finishes I'm an little surprised a deal has not been struck.

Last interview with Nuno actually speaking on the matter he said nothing was on the table from Fosun.

You may all feel totally comfortable with that. But world class managers are not easy to come by. Every top league in the world would be sniffing around at a chance.

4.) 04 Jun 2020 14:58:48
There used to be an account on here from years ago called "Estate Agent Source" this person claimed to be an estate agent who would show potential signings around homes in Wolverhampton and Sutton Coldfield.

Express and star rumors say we may be interested in wood from Leeds, another third rate player 8 goles in 28 not going to make any differece at all.

1.) 18 Jan 2016 19:21:00
On Sly we are linked with a 20 year old Belgian who signed for Watford at the start of the season and can't get close to the first team. 6ft 5inch and quick.

2.) 18 Jan 2016 19:59:19
In kenny we trust.

3.) 19 Jan 2016 08:44:07
In kenny we trust. Maybe so. He has his hands tied. He is trying to build something at wolves but he keeps getting the rug pulled from under his feet. Danny Batth could be on his way?!

4.) 19 Jan 2016 09:34:58
Well we are 19 days into the transfer window and we ain't got 1 defender.

From what I saw of Zyro against Cardiff he ain't the answer to our forward problems either.

I wanderer if we will have any positives come the end of the season? Suppose staying in the league will be the biggest.

Is that the same 20 year old Belgian who came on in Watford's game last night. Nearer their first team than we thought but maybe still in with a shout as they brought in another forward yesterday. Depends where that puts him in their pecking order. if any chance of taking him on loan then think it would be good business as Watford, s recruitment has been good over recent times.

18 Jan 2016 17:29:50
Heard today thay we may sign Sammy ameobi on a short term as bolton can't offer him a deal due to current situation not sure ir its true but thought iwould share anyway.

Chrishb

1.) 18 Jan 2016 17:32:54
Sammy Ameobi is at Cardiff, Shola Ameobi is at Bolton.

2.) 18 Jan 2016 17:38:32
Ment shola 😅 what do people think.

3.) 18 Jan 2016 17:40:36
Shola Ameobi is useless, we need someone a lot better than him.

4.) 19 Jan 2016 08:41:29
Short term loan? Maybe try him. I should think there will be a fire sale going on at Bolton anyway.

Some of me thinks that playoffs aren't a realistic possibility and relegation almost impossible too, so let's not bother with short term loans and concentrate on improving the longer term prospects of the team. For that reason we should give Bright, Siggy and even Liam another crack. Unless we're serious about a major signing, that is.

While I agree with most fans adama divided opinion the loan deal seems odd if there is an obligation to buy that's fine but if it's just an option thRs strange business.im also getting g realy peed off with the figures being suggested for our players. Cody 25mill neves 45mill
In comparison maguire 80mill grealish 100mill we need to be asking 60 plus for neves at least

Chrishb

1.) 30 Jan 2022 13:26:46
Chris, your right a proper marmite player, the deal is less than ideal, but as with all players they are only worth what someone is willing to pay!
If the price isn't right don't sell.easy. except it not if a player won't renew his contract.
options 1: offer him the world to sign. the demands could be start every game, wages the highest at the club, be made captain take the risk of upsetting all the other key players having them say I want more.
Options 2: an offer comes in that meets your valuation.
option 3: let him go on a free when his contract runs down
option 4: get what you can before he leaves on a free

Looks like we took option 4,

2.) 30 Jan 2022 14:15:46
Chris mate I once tweeted i'm tired of the media thinking clubs can just cherry pick our players, we are in good finacial standing and are not desperate for money.

3.) 30 Jan 2022 14:43:42
Personally I think this deal ticks every box.
Firstly he is a player who Lage clearly feels is a plan B for the last 20 mins as he hasn’t got he intelligence to understand the system he wants to play. He will have a good opportunity to thrive in Spain where the game is slower and he will stand out more (either earning the £29m from Barcelona or holding his price for someone else). That is a good price for a player that is not in the starting line up even with Hwang and Neto injured!
Secondly, he frees up a space for an extra non homegrown player (which we were struggling with).
Thirdly, we now have a very strong relationship with Barcelona having done a few deals already and helping them with their current financial plight. This I believe will stand is in good stead for the future (possibly with Trincao as I think he will improve and develop into an excellent player).
All in all, it was fun having Adama but ultimately his final disallowed goal contribution summed up his time with us - full of excitement, got me off my feet but in the end left disappointed. Good luck to the lad as he genuinely is a lovely bloke.

4.) 30 Jan 2022 14:57:29
People say it's a poor deal for Wolves LT but it's probably part of a growing relationship between us and Barca. They loaned us Trincao without an obligation to buy and I've read today that Wolves probably won't buy him in the Summer.
As things stand we don't know if we will finish up getting Traore back at the end of the season, but I like the try before you buy approach, as I am sure do Barcelona these days.
Personally, not sure there'll be anything more in January but I think the summer may bring some more significant strengthening especially if our ffp pressures reduce.

5.) 30 Jan 2022 15:32:59
Not sure what to make of this deal, maybe he just wants out of England for the weather or some other reason, feels he was overlooked at Barcelona and still has something to prove, I really don't know. Clearly Adama never really seemed to establish a permanent starting place in 3.5 seasons with Wolves for whatever reason.

6.) 30 Jan 2022 17:29:12
Isn't it amazing how the bleedin' obvious always rears up.Blood money at Newcastle now beginning to show players in their true colours. Van De Beek now going to Everton because Lampard is going to get them moving up the table.

Fosun better start showing some ambition in the summer.or.

7.) 30 Jan 2022 17:58:06
“Or” what SQ?

8.) 30 Jan 2022 18:13:10
SQ have you not understood the FFP punishment we’ve been under at all?
Why do you continue to spout this anti Fosun stuff when they’ve got us further in 5 years than anyone has in the previous 6 decades. The reason they are not splashing tens of millions now is that they’ve done it for three and a half years and have been sanctioned for it.
They have out a business model in place and the future looks very bright for us and on top of that we stand in a great position to push for Europe with Neto, Hwang, Jonny, Mosquera and Boly set to add to the squad shortly.
I read your comments and continually shake my head as you either have no clue or you are continually on a wind up.

9.) 30 Jan 2022 20:22:40
Great response Tommo1970. Summed up perfectly. Sadly and annoyingly certain contributors on here are unable to understand this.

10.) 31 Jan 2022 23:16:17
Tommo - you understate things. Fosun took us from mid table Championship to the very edge of Champions league in 4 years - one of which was a false start!
However if you look at the accounts you will see that they actually only invested circa £100m over that period- everything else was done on tick or self generated - in addition to the money paid to Morgan (circa £50m) or £25m a year.
Also regardless of FFP it is clear that the £100m was the limit as it seems the Chinese government made it plain to various football club owners that enough was enough - indeed we are one of v few that reamins under Chinese ownership.
So that wasnt Fosun's "fault" either.
However losing Dalyrmple, Thelwell and Nuno was as was appointing Shi who has done a truly appalling job in every single aspect of his role - bar finding Lage ( who appears to be a genius!)
As can be seen from the accounts Shi has totally failed to build the brand despite the succes on the field - our commercial activites revenues still sit miserably in lower mid table!
Also given the acknowledged and fully understood tightness in finances why oh why did he as head of the transfer committee for example pay £30m for Semedo, good player but cf for example Coufal at £5m (better defensively but not as good going forwards) and Lamptey £3m (better both ways?) and on a fraction of the salaries not great value, £9m for Hoever a prospect at best and most spectacularly of all Silva (perhaps a £50m over pay including wages!)
Note we aren't Man U, Chelsea etc where £50m can be written off without blinking but as you note we are a team with serious financial constraints.
We were so close and indeed still are to Champions league football - due to the job done in those first 3 (4) years not any current business plan (if buying Hwang - who can't control the ball with either foot, Trincao who can't kick it with his right - but is v good on his left and a few kids who like most of the other kids we have signed will go out on loan never to be seen again is the plan) but due to the multitude of major errors made by Shi are now in real danger, despite Lage' brilliance of allowing that project to wither on the vine.
So Tommo and Sevlow and others I accept that Fosun did a fabulous job until the summer of 2020 and I am extremely graeteful we are no longer a mid table Championship side but surely no Wolves fan can be happy with Shi's performance over the last 18 months and so many quite reasonably complain even though perhaps it should be clear it is Shi who they are angry with not Fosun, (although they do employ him) in general

Hi does anyone know how to find out what prioritie group you have been pit in for man u tickets.

Chrishb

1.) 12 May 2021 16:39:10
Couldn’t even work out how to try and apply for one, everyone’s not got all the latest technology or the patience for that matter, would’ve thought they should be free issue though, baring in mind all season ticket holders are still four games in credit, then next seasons tickets could be charged accordingly.

2.) 12 May 2021 17:29:23
Hi Chrishb, Wolves emailed me to say I'd been randomly picked out and put into group 2. It was a follow up email to the confirmation of having successfully entered the ballot. Maybe you could give the club a call, I've always found them to be really helpful.

3.) 12 May 2021 17:36:01
Oxley- agreed I think it's an absolute disgrace that they are charging and top price no less! Its 4500 at around £45 so that's approx £200k. I reckon Fosun can afford that and after what the fans have been through it shouldn't be a tough gesture for them! And like you say us season ticket holders are four games in credit, guessing the club are doing nothing about those then?! Honestly starting to lose faith in Fosuns commitment to the cause, ever since Delrymple left they have lost all touch with the fans for me! 😭.

4.) 13 May 2021 09:59:14
It's no fuss, it's just having an opinion and last time I checked that was kind of the point of these boards. I have no problem with people choosing to go Low, although I find it hilarious that you think your going shows that you 'love your club' honestly are you Perez in disguise?! And people wonder how we ended up with the ESL?! 🙄
Incidently Low you may want to read today's Express cause the fans Parliament are taking concerns over the ticket pricing to the club, guessing there's no 'real fans' in that group then either?! Hilarious 🤣.

5.) 13 May 2021 10:49:33
Over 20,000 season ticket holders who thought we were all equals, some fans had no way of applying for tickets and those who did were then put in to “priority groups” could’ve just put everyone in a draw with a choice to purchase or not, might as well hand them out to who they want, wonder how many of the 4,500 in attendance will actually be season ticket holders and how many have to sit on their hands when United score.

6.) 13 May 2021 11:26:34
Haha, you talk of patronising whilst telling people that basically your going 'Cause your a REAL fan'?! And actually no funnily enough most season ticket holders in fact would NOT have paid £40 pound extra for the privilege! And again you seem confused 'mate' on what a forum is, if I want to make a song and dance on what has been a poorly managed situation then you ain't going to stop me! A situation which MANY fans have in fact refered to as an 'own goal'. Don't like it don't read it, same as your ticket analogy! Again try reading the Express article, cause less than a quarter of the fans agree with you 'mate'! Still though have a good day for it, I'm all out of medals for your effort but I'm sure you REAL fans don't need one. I've had a season ticket for almost three decades so please don't talk to me like your some kind of utlra fan, your not. Your just like the rest of us except unlike the other 75% you think the price structures fine (not my numbers the Expresses) . Fair enough, but don't tell me what my 'opinion' should be and if you don't like my opinion then don't read it. Simples 🤣.

7.) 13 May 2021 12:29:29
Low wolf : That was my original point, not everyone has the internet, not everyone has photo I. D. so not everyone could apply, unfair method of distribution.

8.) 13 May 2021 15:09:16
I'm not turning it into top Trumps Low in fact I think you'll find that you were the one saying 'I also know how much I love my club' the inference in which is that those that have not applied do not. So again you are confused 'mate'! Also you need to have a check of what the word majority means! Our stadium holds 32050 and 13k supporters applied for tickets, so in fact Low its not EVEN a majority of those normally attending! Let a lone a majority of overall fans! It would be great if you actually engaged with some of the points I've raised i.e the express story where over 75% agreed it was being done badly or the fact that little old Burnley are managing it better than us?! Who my kidding though cause you didn't want an actual debate on the subject. No all you wanted to do was head on here and go 'ain't I a great fan for going to this match'. Fair enough but please don't think you can (incorrectly) throw terms like majority of fans into the debate without anything to actually back it up! You think 13k is the 'majority' of ALL Wolves fans then you really don't know the club at all! 🙄.

9.) 13 May 2021 15:33:43
I’ve still got a season ticket book that cost £17 and could be used to gain entrance to North or South Bank, now my seat in the Steve Bull is worth £45 I’ll be expecting £180 discount next season. not.

10.) 13 May 2021 16:03:55
Good Lord 🙄.

11.) 13 May 2021 18:21:01
Have my posts all been deleted now Ed’s? .

{Ed002's Note - You were compaining that your replies had been deleted by the editors when they hadn't been. So whenever I find one of your posts I will delete it to give you something to complain about.

12.) 13 May 2021 18:21:17
Can’t I speak my mind on here now.

{Ed002's Note - Of course but try not to be a cretin.}

13.) 13 May 2021 18:35:21
You’re got my email. Write to me and explain why my posts weren’t published, then all removed! Go on.

14.) 13 May 2021 20:01:02
Nice words from Rubens Dias about jao moutinho, respect👍.

15.) 13 May 2021 21:28:17
Ed002 let Lowwolf have his say we're mature enough to make our own minds up about what he says.

{Ed014's Note - ed02 clearly said that none of lowwolfs posts had been previously deleted, so he clearly had nothing to moan about.

Ed02 then said he’d delete his posts so he had something to moan about.

Now I’ve just deleted one of his posts because it was abuse towards us Ed’s so he clearly needs to just grow up.

16.) 14 May 2021 05:53:21
Re the above posts on ticket allocations etc and true fans, (by the way I've no idea what low wolf had put) I regard myself as a 'true fan of over 60 odd years, I've never been a season ticket holder, but pay for club membership. I use to travel up to home games and any local games around Oxford/ London. As age as crept up and numerous health issues joined in, plus a surge in new fans since the prem I havnt actually been to the ground for some time. I havnt missed a game during C.V., (paying subscriptions to sky, bt and amazon to do so) and being able to see my beloved team as been a positive for me in these times. I have also purchased kit programmes been able to donate to feed the pack etc. The use of true fan gets banded about alot, can I just say that having a season ticket or being there at Lincoln or whatever does not eliminate those of us who wish we could be there. My heart has always been wolves, will always be wolves.

17.) 14 May 2021 07:39:43
Hear hear Abbeywolf. I myself can only get to about 5 matches a season due to working for the Emergency Services for the last 20 odd years. I still buy the kits and have a membership. I get 1 weekend in every 9 off. Just cause I don't go to matches due to circumstances, doesn't mean I'm less of a fan.

18.) 14 May 2021 09:24:32
Let LOWWOLF back ; I was trying to explain that over 20,000 would’ve liked to apply for tickets to the Man U game but the Club made it impossible for about half of them and he was telling us how only true fans should be able to get tickets anyway (as long as you’ve got the internet and photo I. d of some description)

{Ed001's Note - he calls people names, he is abusive, he is not welcome. I do wish people who don't see any of what comes through would not try and tell us how to deal with abuse.}

19.) 14 May 2021 11:42:48
Apologies, didn’t realise, suppose I’m used to it as not many fans, especially the younger generation always agree with my points of view.

{Ed001's Note - sorry mate, I didn't mean to be so tetchy, its just that people forget that they only see what we allow through.}

20.) 14 May 2021 12:04:38
Fiar enough Ed, you are the refs of this and like refs its a thankless job! My only concern is that it now looks like I'm debating with myself, it would seem that I could in fact have an argument in a room by myself! 😂 Joking aside thank you for your efforts Eds, I have no time for messages that become abusive or personal cause there's just no need, it's only football! 👍🐺.

{Ed001's Note - ah so maybe it is all your fault???? No worries mate, it is a shame that people don't rethink their posts. Once someone starts calling someone a name, it just leads to a reaction to that rather than what they say. Their words would have more effect if they left that out and discussions are far more interesting. I just don't understand why he was so irate anyway as he made it quite plain he was contemptuous of everyone on here and what they talked about. You just wonder why come here if you don't like it? And if you do, why not scroll past the stuff you aren't interested in rather than insult it?}

21.) 14 May 2021 12:41:33
Tbh none of us should be questioning the EDs removing of posts/ people end of the day it's a private site with rules in place that we should respect.

22.) 14 May 2021 13:58:01
Bullysboy, you've left the goal open for me to post about debating and becoming a master at doing so.

23.) 14 May 2021 16:48:47
Haha, your right Jas! A master debating who likes doing it by himself no less! I think I better stop there before I get bounced too! 🤣🙈.

15 Sep 2019 11:09:43
Bad day at the office yesterday we were second best most of the game according to stats we are the only team not to have led a single game for a single minute. Look at the post match interviews Lampard was scared of playing us at home, did his home work and changed his formation to counter our threat it worked. We need to mix it up a bit can't keep to the same tactics every game. Expected better need a win quick or we could be blowing our chances of a decent finish.

Chrishb

1.) 15 Sep 2019 12:01:04
Nuno has become the tinkerman. Resting players when they are not tired and playing them when they are tired due to international duty. Last season he stuck to mostly the same team but no one has a clue who will be playing on Thursday.

Regarding leo everybody saying he sint good enough he's having a dry spell due to lack of service because teams are making it hard for us he isn't the type of player to pick a ball and run at defence . Still plenty of games left and after all top league scores have 15 with 2 and 3 assists leo has 12 with 5 so is in the leagues top 3 stop moaning and give the guy a chance.

Bright is a very good option to have with plenty of talent a bit young and more often than not makes the wrong decision he can work on that definitely a keeper will get better under nuno than being lent out and playing in a different system somewhear else.

100% agree with you lowwolf and what others are saying definitely need to finish teams off might loose a few points at 1 nill in the final minutes if we can't find the second goal and that would definitely feel like a loss with 70% of the ball.
