Hi Guys think the appointment of Kenny Jackett is a half decent one. Personally was hoping for Steve Mclaren but let's be honest we have a decent manager in Jackett. We are a league one team and managing to land a championship manager is a big positive.

Jackett will rebuild the team and will get us playing again. Just wondering does anybody know what sort of football Jackett plays? Hoping passing football instead of the kick and run.

Think we really need to get rid of a lot players mainly the ones that have been at the club for a long time. I would get rid of:
Edwards
Stearman
Henry
Ward
Hammill
Jonsson
Doyle
Foley

thats 8 players that will cut the wage bill and create room for new players. Really hope Jackett uses the academy.

People saying we are getting Jay Simpson think it's a possibility but look at the strikers we have cause Cassidy did well at Tramere last season he can do the same this season. Mcalindin had been amazing for the u21's so think he deserves a chance in league one. Sigurdarson obviously great player did not get many goals last season but if we get midfield sorted out and get some decent balls to him, with his pase he will destroy league one. Think Doyle will be off to Celtic personally. Think he needs to move on. Billy Sharp would not be a bad option but doubt he would come to us think he would go to nottingham forest or another team in the championship

Doumbia and boukara are also suspect fitness wise

Ye O'hara a possibility but since he came back he was played in the wrong position under Saunders always seemed to be holding back and just trying to do good passes. He is much better just as a CAM. He has a decent shot. Think he will want to go after altercation with fans but to be honest I would like him to stay cause he is a good player.

Ye Hennessy may go after he starts playing in the first team to be honest not the worst thing ever cause Ikeme in my opinion proved himself till he picked a fight with a board and lost.

People talking about Johnson going to be honest hope he stays like him defends well and he will work well with Batth but got to say thank god Gorkks has gone he was poor. Think Doumbia is a great player he is our Yaya Toure if he is played. He did have a poor stint after first 10 games. Boukari hope he can prove himself let's be honest most of Stale's recruitments were good. I would put him in charge of recruitment.

Problem with Johnson is value for money. I mean, he does his job, but for the amount we pay him (probably ten times what we pay Batth) we expect more don't you think?
