wolves want 1 defender and 1 attacker (sky sports) if so that's 1 signing given cutrone leaving. whatever players come in it will be a loan with option to buy like always that gives the selling club no money to replace who there selling meaning harder to negotiate. its getting boring now its obvious that we need 4 to 5 players every fan can see it. you can bet the reason behind no signings is that wolves won't stump up asking prices. sometimes you have to offer a fee that a club simply can't turn down to get the players you NEED, they've had 3 months to talk to clubs, identify targets, and get a deal 95%done before the window even opens.

Feel for your frustrations as its clear you're well frustrated to try to be of any help I would just hang in there and keep the faith that we will sign the players needed. You never know there could be big signings on the way I really hope there is.

Been told by a mate who has some links to the golden palace, we will announce 2 major transfers ASAP, German player (poss the centre back in press) and not sure about other, hopefully the Madrid winger Lemar, don’t shoot messenger, just what I’ve been told, apparently a major member of wolves board / team has come back to finalise both transfers.

Clubs aren't allowed to talk to clubs about players outside the window. Wouldn't want a player thinking he's going and dragging his heels.

Your right Coven it is getting boring now although I suspect we are talking about two different things! I'm a fan and I don't think we need 4 to 5 players. I'd say 3 max! We'll be lucky to get two but the reality is Coven quality players don't want to come in to sit on the bench just look what happened with Cutrone! So answer me this Coven if you are bringing that many in then I want at least 4 names of the currently regular starting team that you are saying you would drop/ sell?! That's the thing, its easy to say just sign players but it will be at the cost of those currently at the club. For example would you sign a new CM if it meant we HAD to sell MGW?
