All these neves talks and fans from man utd and man city talking like they have already signed him and thinking its going to be easy to sign him for us has me laughing.

Its like
1.we don't need the money.
2.neves signed a new 5 year contract.
3.his happy at wolves.
4.doesnt matter if mendes gets on with someone from one of those clubs mendes doesn't have final say on when a player is sold wolves do.

So its all in the clubs hands and I can only see him being sold is if neves says he wants to leave but even than a clubs will have to pay 60-70 million which could end up being more if he has an amazing few months but really hoping since his happy he might give us at least another season or 2 after this as long as we can stay in the prem.

If a club like City want him there's not much we can do to stop them he probably has a release clause and we would be daft to turn down £60m or whatever Fosun think is good value

Leicester held on to Mahrez for a season before City got their man but they had to let Kante go so maybe he will still be with us at least till next summer

Who would Neves replace at City anyway? Fernandinho? Silva? Surely not De Bruyne? He is guaranteed a game at Wolves.

He's allegedly earmarked to replace Fernandinho. Only deal I'd consider is a swap with Gundogan and money on top.

Mendes may have a good relationship with the Man City bloke, Mourinho etc but he also has an excellent relationship with Fosun Group. Wolves are building something special and the other big clubs need to remember that we are not reliant on selling our better players to survive.

I think he will give us this season and see were we end up he knows wolves give him the opportunity to play football and also learn from a good manager I'd love to see him stay for years to come bit I'd be happy if he went for 65 million as every player has a price and fosun ain't stupid if he wos to go they will have players earmarked to bring in wolves now shrewd in business affairs and we all new what a talent ruben wos before he got here he just didn't get the chance back home and we all knew if he showed the world what he could do he would have clubs all over him but we will triple what we paid so win win.

He's only twenty one I'm sure he could give us another couple of years, by then he'd probably be courted by Real or Barca. A better proposition for him altogether.

He eventually wants to go back to Porto.
I think he will stay until he hears his daughter start talking with a Wolverhampton accent. Then he will leave.

I'd put a 200 million price tag on him and see who comes calling.

Yes Bulltrain selling him for 65m is good business and we can go back to the well of the Portugal first division for another like him and have change to upgrade defence

Mendes won't let Fosun down too important client for him.

Rubens going nowhere, he’s a wolves player on a lengthy contract, and we don’t need to sell
Okay all players have their price and he’s currently in the 80 to 100 million bracket based on recent transactions, but this is a “project” and part of nunos plans.

I hope you are right Charlie but look at Arsenal always selling their best players like Sanchez Giroud Oxlade Chamberlain because the biggest clubs have the money then they sign replacements from France.
