Ruben Neves played well yesterday as did Raul Jimenez, but I thought the most important player for us was Moutinho. He organised the midfield. Nothing spectacular but very effective.

In fairness to him he probably has his reasons for not liking us, I mean for a man of his intellect Wolverhampton is an awfully long word! The ref was on our side yet didn't book Richarlson for diving or book any of the scousers for their fouls on Neves, Jota and Costa. Like when Jota was taken down and the free kick went against him. How dare he get fouled.

This is a case of "Everton know how to play the ref better than Wolves" and that showed.

But we showed too much respect and were rusty. For saying that was a poor performance by our standards it's amazing! On our top form we probably could have really hurt EFC. And if we had been smarter about Richarlson and his diving we could have conceded less too!
