Does anybody think if promoted. that nuno will be given 100-150 m to spend. we've had the championship talking with 20 m being spent. I think there will be even more surprises next season.

Wednesfield, these guys are serious. They will not say (obviously) how much but I am sure it will be sufficient to establish us in the top flight.

How about simply doing as Numo says . Just concentrate on the next game.

When we're promoted I don't think there will be a figure, Nuno will be told to put a side together to hit the top 6, we certainly won't be going to the Prem to make the numbers up like the baggies!

I don't think we will go too crazy, I mean for me i'd want to splash on another striker. Sensible buys for a couple wing backs, another center back and a center mid, mostly as rotation/ backup. Get Leo/ Boly/ Jota signed up. so whatever all that comes to.

I think Cody/ Bennet/ Saiss/ Leo/ Rudy would be on my "not convinced they will step up to prem" list, but see how it goes. Out of all of them I'm most desperate to see Cody do well, his presence on and off the pitch looks to me to be really important for the lads.

Well Fosun did say money would be no object once promotion achieved. 😀🙏.

What ARE you on?
You’re smoking some serious stuff mate.

Wednesfield mate, get real!
100-150 million? Do you not read, or not understand ffp rules.

8.) 05 Jan 2018
05 Jan 2018 00:27:42
The team finishing bottom of the Premier League gets a guaranteed £100m. So spending £100m+ would not really impact FFP rules.

9.) 05 Jan 2018
05 Jan 2018 07:25:58
How much money do you know then lowwolf wolves have got to spend before we get in trouble with ffp? I don't know myself that why i'm asking you as you slated wednesfeild wolf for not reading or understanding ffp you must know the answer to my question.

According to the above, we can spend £5m more than our income. Bear in mind we get £100m just for being in the Premier, then we have gate receipts, sponsorship and merchandise to consider, the board spending £100m should not be an issue regarding FFP.

Philip789.
I know we can’t spend 150 million BEFORE we get a penny from being in the prem. simples!
Or are you another roofer?!

14.) 05 Jan 2018
05 Jan 2018 14:28:40
As far as I understand the ffp rules are based over a 3 year period so we could easily spend 100m plus as we would get it back at end of that season.

{Ed001's Note - you know you don't get 100m for promotion right? The numbers that Sly Spurts give out are based on 1 season in the Prem + all the parachute payments if you get relegated.}

15.) 05 Jan 2018
05 Jan 2018 14:46:07
Yes ed I know that I meant if we go up then spend 100m we would get it back at end of next season even if we finish bottom.

{Ed001's Note - but you wouldn't get it back at the end of next season. You would also have a massive wage bill and a bunch of players needing to be offloaded. Do you think the club's outgoings do not increase when you are in the Prem?}

16.) 05 Jan 2018
05 Jan 2018 15:42:54
Won't be a problem Ed, because we won't get relegated with these owners and Mendes connections! 👍 We're not the baggies makin the numbers up.

{Ed001's Note - good point, I don't think relegation is likely either.}

Nice on Ed 👍.

{Ed001's Note - I have been very impressed with what I have seen of Wolves this season.}

Yes we look like a premier quality team not like the last promotions where we went down or nearly did we must be as good as Burnley and Bournemouth and better than WBA and Swansea and Newcastle for that matter.

19.) 05 Jan 2018
05 Jan 2018 20:46:13
That list of players is about right. Saiss is probably OK in the Premier. Weren't Liverpool looking at him? Bonatini not sure about. He could turn out to be one of those nomadic players like Diop was, often better than a club already has but never great. Or he could be our Harry Kane.

I don't like the harmful and berating words you used to wed wolf and then me if you can't see that and where i'm coming from then I will gladly leave this site. thought we were all wolves.

07 Jan 2018 15:55:59
That's entirely your choice- not mine.

I'm wolves through and through and don't hold a grudge. On here or in life. BUT, I do take offence at being publicly called a mad man, when I'd said nothing dorogitry to you.

24.) 07 Jan 2018
07 Jan 2018 16:43:57
Or Phillip, we both do the sensible thing?
Leave all this here, end of, and both get on with what we both enjoy doing- watching and supporting our team.
Agree?

07 Jan 2018 17:12:27
I agree lowwolf tit for tat is doing wolves no good obviously I have taken your words out of context apoligies for calling you a madman i'm no good at social media and take everything to heart. I genuinely thought you were taking the mick and went too far and didn't like the way you worded your comments.
All the best lowwolf see you in the prem.
