Just wondered whether people thought that glen whelen and Jonathan Walters from stoke would be a good option for us?

Walters would be good but no way is he leaving Stoke.

Mentioned Walters before as the type of striker we should look at. Loads of experience to pass onto younger players coming through and a strong vocal leader on the pitch. Think he's just signed another contract for a year though.
Would prefer Ledley, Larsson or Carrick to Whelan. Anyway Lambert's only two signings so far have improved the team, the choice is his. or Kevins, or Jeffs, or Mendes.
