Honest opinion guys!

I don't know what to feel so far about Fosun and the direction they intend to go in. To me it seems like they are very oblivious to what it will take to get out of this league with the lack of knowledge of players etc. I keep hearing about Benfica players but surely they need to look outside the box.

Quite frankly the squad we have now is nowhere near good enough for top 2 so to enable us to do this we need to sign 4 TOP players that are literally too good for this league.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is a decent player but he's not top notch. Joao Texeira has looked promising, Helder Costa isn't yet fit enough and Silvio is injured.

The likes of Mario Ballotelli, Talisca, Luis Alberto, Sako, Bamford are exactly what i'm suggesting. These players would literally wreak havoc in the Championship and this is what we need.

The next 2 weeks will show us the intentions of Fosun because at the moment i'm totally underwhelmed by what I have seen.

Theres too much mediocrity in that starting 11 to seriously challenge for promotion.

I have to agree. its been very underwhelming to say the least. no proven Championship experience. all this talk of marquee signings. one thing about the Vile. their owner is putting his money where his mouth is while ours is throwing peanuts into the team. very dissapointed if I am honest.

Matty g were going in the right direction I totally agree with u bout all these benfica players I am not 1 to moan but I won't to see some young English/ British blood a Bamford Pritchard but let's just see wht happens it's a funny start really cus he's come and only had 3weeks he ain't done to bad in tht time I would like to no who's decision it is to sign players.

Don't forget villa are still receiving parachute payments from the premier league which are funding the majority of their signings.
