Totally agree. but I got shot down when I said it. £20 million players are for the prem if or when we get there. we need a solid tough and dependable team to get out of this league.

I don't think we'll be relegation material. Mid table quite possibly. The talisca deal is a FFP workaround anyway. We buy him for £20m this season, he gets his work permit, we then sell to Liverpool for £30m next season which frees up more funds for transfers under FFP.

I think we're all getting ahead of ourselves talking of £20million players. its nice to be in that position but we've got to learn to walk before we can run. if a £20mill player gets injured that's it. if we spend the money on 4or5 players and one gets injured we've still got back up. don't you think a 20 million player would be a marked man in this division
