Real Betis are in advanced talks with Wolves to sign Podence a fee between £7million - £10million has been stated.
Not sure how to feel on this he was our second leading scorer and a absolute menace to defences, but also he play acted a lot too.

Yeah Dek we got the likes of Sarabic, Chiquino, Neto, Cunha who can all play in Podence position anyway so as you said pal more money in the pot.

Not a fan of Podence for a number of reasons. Too many flicks to nobody in defensive third, doesn’t track back when loses possession, too quick to go to ground. In his defence, I’m not sure we have played him in his best position or given him a run of starting games.
Betis interest is okay but would get more money if a Premier League team came calling. Everton apparently showed some interest previously but that was pre-Dyche (don’t think he is a Dyche type of player). Quoting £7m to £10m price. I think given other sums being paid we should be looking nearer £15 million for a player his age and experience.

But sure let's sell everyone. Cause buying a whole new team often works like it did with Forrest and most of their issues are nothing to do with the fact that changing a team wholesale is really d-u-m-b.

Dont think we will be relegated but I do think we will be bottom half of the table. I don't think J-Lo will last. Fact is we shouldn't have kept Raul and we shouldn't have made so many silly signings. We should have gone all out for Enzo and then made the £100m from Chelsea . We shouldn't have bought Guedes. And collins seems like a bad move now as sure, we made a couple of million but the guy was being paid over £5m a year. So we didn't make any money on him. Not really.

Lembekisa, Mosquera (when he returns) ki Jana Hoever and Big B Traore sorry for any misspellings, I too am looking forward to the new season, I have faith in JL and Team and think (not in the know )? that we'll make at least 2-3 half decent signings.

Frenchwolf, we need to get rid of some players in order to bring better quality in. The core of the team is still here: Sa, Dawson, Gomes, Lemina.

Of the players sold, only Neves was a regular last season.

Moutinho wanted one last payday to he was allowed to go. Coady was on loan, Adama rarely started for us but was offered a huge pay rise but still turned it down so off he goes.

Collins wasn't in Lopetegui's plans.

The alternative was that we kept the squad as it was, do well at home, get spanked away and call the manager out for not changing things.

The squad needs changing so let Lopetegui work his magic and let's judge him once the transfer window closes.

Babacar Traore one I forgot have high hopes for him (previous posts)
Lembekisa a rookie but so was Beuno so you never know if he impresses lopetegui in pre season.
Mosquera a yes yes.
Ki Hoever must have something about him but where his attitude is at is anyones guess.
Has to be some signings to make sense but as previous windows it's not easy but are hopeful the same as you.

Thanks Phil, been reading the posts for a long time and decided to add my 2 peneth, Mosquera looked promising when he first came to us before he got injured, apparently JL likes him as for Lembekisa when he played a couple of games last season he looked solid, confident on the ball and progressive but he's young so maybe ease him in here and there, re Hoever I think there's a player in there I think when he came to us he maybe thought it was a step down for him and his attitude wasn't right, now he's in the real world he may have a better attitude and knuckle down.
