Guedes has signed on loan for Benefica until end of the season no option to buy.
Personally I think the loan will do him the world of good it'll give him chance to put himself in the shop window, reghain his confidence and form.

I would also point out that with it happening on the same day Lope has pubically reiterated Adamas commitment well then gents that's as good a sign as any that Lope fancies Adama over Guedes! Some seem to forget that it was Lope that called Adama into the national team. I reckon we'll open contract talks with him after the window shuts, time will tell ?

Agree with all comments above including BB's one on recruitment staff - fortunatley now that JL has seemingly replaced Jeff as the one in charge we can only assume we won't make as many mistakes going forwards.

Guedes scored two goals with minimal game time.
Not his fault he doesn't run around and "put in a shift" like it's the 1970s. It's a different time and a different era.

With respect that's absolute rubbish,Handsome. Guardiola, probably the best manager of modern times, requires all his players to, "put a shift in".How do you reconcile that? As for Guedes's goals, you could have scored the one at Liverpool even though you're in Canada.

Best players or not,they all put a shift in or, in one form of modern parlance,utilise a high press. That requires athleticism,stamina and fitness.All top managers realise that you have to earn the right to play. Guedes' body language has been poor throughout his time with Wolves and it's clear that he doesn't fancy the necessary hard work.

BullysBoy, it was Luis Enrique who called up Adama for the Spanish national team in November 2019, but he had to pull out and be replaced by Sarabia. Lopetegui was sacked as Spain manager in June 2018 after agreeing to take over at Real Madrid after the World Cup had concluded.

Guedes couldn't settle in the area due to family issues. He tried but it wasn't to be. I was excited when he arrived but if the loan move will help him and he comes back as the player we hoped he would be, then so be it.

Guedes will not play for wolves again. Couldn't settle or didn't want to settle. He never wanted to be here. Simple. Good riddance. The new players we've signed this window are different. They really want to be here. They'll settle.
