Still seeing links with a bid and interest for Dani Olmo. Getting him at around 20 mil would be a no brainer if we could. Going to be a great player if he stays on the right track. Could go for 3 times that much in a couple years.

I definitely agree with you but even though there has being no links in last couple of weeks I’d be tempted to go for Harry Wilson even though he would cost a similar amount. Just my opinion having watched him quite a bit for Derby last season.

I really like Harry Wilson he is a quality footballer. Can just imagine him wanting to start on the wing at a Villa type standard club. He can easily play all over though so maybe.

Trouble is it is a brainer. What a piss poor transfer window. I really feel if we beat crusaders on their plastic pitch tonight and progress further into the europa league. We are going to struggle in the league. I no many people won't have it but with all these top players we could have got. Disappointed to say the least.

I can’t say I am disappointed with the players we bought in, actually I think they could be great signings. All probability we are going to sign one more player and I think we are a couple of players short after that especially with the Europa League as I can’t see how we are going to be so lucky with injuries and suspensions as last year when playing potentially many more games.

Judging by what other clubs have shelled out can't see why a couple more would be a massive issue. It's not like our owners have money issues. Stick to the same format young up and coming internationals. Big profit margins on them.

We will have injuries this season without being doom and gloom no chance will we get that lucky with all the comps! . Quality yes. the squad size could backfire. suppose there is always Jan. And doubly hope I'm proved wrong for having doubts.

It’s not doom and gloom but I feel the two signings are a little underwhelming. Cutrone doesn’t make us stronger as he will be sitting on the bench. Vallejo I don’t know much about.
With regards to the permanent signings of Raul and Dendonker that again hasn’t strengthened the squad.
We need another 2 quality signings, one has to be someone that can unlock stubborn defences!

Other teams on our level are dishing out 50 mil sums on a regular. Ruben Dias would be a massive statement. The kind of player that is highly unlikely to ever loose a penny. On whether he stays for years or gets a massive transfer. It's just good business.

Maybe we do need to be a little bolder dare I say.

Why do some of you want to sign so many players knowing that Nuno wants a squad of 18 plus his goalkeepers? I understand the need for better players but at the moment we have enough cover should anyone get injured.

What we need is to replace any outgoing players with better quality. Like when we got rid of N'Diaye and Afobe and brought in Moutinho and Jimenez.

We don’t have the cover in midfield as you’ve put Dendonker in twice, so only 17 players.
Saiss and MGW are ok but not game changers (yet) . Surely we need a CAM in the shape of someone like Dani Olmo. We couldn’t unlock stubborn defences last season, that needs to be addressed.

Completely agree. Couple of key player injuries and we are in a bit of bother. Saiss good cover for Donck. Gibbs white for another midfielder.

But we 100% need one more midfielder. I'd say.

This 18 number seems optimistic and I don't doubt the club's decisions of late. Who am I to say otherwise

But ideal world CB of Ruben Dias ilk and creative mid would be a good window for me. With what we already have. Just my opinion.

I think we'll bring 1 more player in, similar to Dendoncker, ie can play midfield or defence. From pre season, it looks like MGW will be playing a more attacking role.

Demon, Gbamim has signed for Everton. Just to confirm your earlier post, they are not one of the top 6 clubs. Also, what's so good about him because I, like virtually everyone else had never heard of him.
