There is an article stating that our "sporting project" is not ambitious enough because we are not established to challenge for the league and are not in Europe, hence Patricio likely to go to Napoli.

Whilst we do have deep pockets now, this might be a reality check to everyone who thinks we can sign whoever we want. The really top players who everyone wants us to sign will need a hell of a lot of persuading to come to us because other clubs can offer European football.

I would love to see some of the players being linked to us in an old gold shirt but maybe fans need to temper expectations a tad. I am sure that was behind Nuno's interview the other week regarding expectations next season.

We can dream but must be realistic too.
