Ya have to wonder what was going through Beniks mind watching that first half on Sat. Mostly I think it would of been along the lines of 'Is this definitely Wolves because it ain't the Wolves I remember! ' and he wouldn't be wrong ;)

We were immense and off that display Benik could be waiting a few more weeks for a start cause who could you drop from our AWESOME 'Portuguese men of war'front line?! Even Costa looks like he's starting to find his old mojo, some filthy footwork in the corners! Then Gibbs comes on and even he gets in on the act by walking past defenders and some tidy passing to boot! Just SO much to be excited about in this team I love it!

Special credit to Nuno (I mean not just for being Nuno of course;) but also for bringing Leo on before Benik. Would have been SO easy to appease the crowd and bring Benik on first but Leo has earned that small token of respect. Pretty much says everything about Nunos man management skills, great times to be a Wolves fan! COYW ;)

I agree Bullysboy Afobe has to wait his turn it will come perhaps if one of the first choice front three is injured also Saiss has a battle to depose Alfred now.

Spot on bullysboy.

I respected Nuno for that decision as well.

The pack is raring for the run in now! Let’s get behind them everywhere we play! WAW.

Agreed with that BullysBoy. It's a vastly different team to the one Afobe left. He has no divine right to a hero's welcome back. Nuno handled it just right, made him wait his turn. Afobe now knows he must fight tooth and nail for a smidgen of a chance in this team. What a difference!

Afobe might even find it as difficult to get a game at Wolves as he did at Bournemouth.

Agree Deep, its an insurance policy in case of injuries loss of form etc, as far as I am concerned. Great signing by Nuno and the board!

Window- Hadn't thought of that one fella but your not wrong ya know, Saiss will have to work darn hard for his place because two of our best performances now have come since N'Diayes been in! I like Saiss and realise that he's technically better BUT there's solid/ won't get past me quality to N'Diaye which really helps. Hope we sign him up long term cause think he will be worth his weight in gold next season (and he's a big unit;)! Especially come the last 20 mins when trying to hold a lead in the Prem!
Deep- I also agree I almost wrote something along the same lines of having more chance of a game at Bournemouth but didn't want to seem negative on him. But ya not wrong there either, between Jota playing like that and Leos previous this season Benik is somehow third choice! Who could of imagined that a few seasons back, definitely not me! Happy Days! COYW ;)

Ya know Window you've got me thinking on that now, because a large part of the reason we've got back on track is because Neves has found his magical form again. Are looking at our own Lampard/ Gerrard issue (for next season) because with N'Diaye playing it means Rueben doesn't have to do as much of the dirty work and can get forward a bit more to release that deadly right foot like at the wkend! Still good problems to be having eh! COYW ;)

I like Saiss too, and never much understood why Lambert didn't give him game time. Allegedly he got miffed at Saiss linking up with his national team but I'm sure that's not all of it, if any of it.

Someone did a "Neves and N'Daiye" chant earlier in the season. These two could be our unlikely answer to Xavi and Iniesta. Someone maybe said that too.

Let’s all just wish Benik Afobe all the best, support and encourage him to see if we can help get the best from him. I’ve seen him play several times over the last two years including the last time he played at the vitality! He seemed lost to me! Eddie H never played to his strengths and he usually came on for the last 20 mins as a sub.

So let’s all just get behind him and see if we can help him fit in, and get his Mojo back. If he can he will be an asset for us. ⚽️😉👍.
