Just heard a stupid comment on radio stating that Nuno is considering his position as Wolves have sold Dicko without his approval and failed to bring in any of the 8 strikers on his wish list.

{Ed047's Note - Wolves let Dicko go as the believed that Locadia deal was as good as done but PSV pulled the plug very late on in the deal}.

But Ed we put ourselves out on a limb by previously selling Bod and sending Mason out on loan. Not sure how this has happened, but i expect Jeff Shi, Thelwell Dalrymple and Nuno may need to justify how this has happened. Fosun may be a little unhappy if we miss out on promotion when they have made such a significant investment. Hopefully we can redress the situation in January.

{Ed047's Note - True but when your basically assured that a player is signing ie Colback & Locadia than obviously you have to make room for new arrivals}.

Didn't Newcastle refuse to sell Dwight Gayle until they had a replacement. We should have done that. No loan window. Hopefully Zyro, Bright, Cav and Bonatini can bang the goals in.

What this has done is given Nuno a get out of jail free card. If we don't win games he can simply point to the fact that the board didn't do enough to bring strikers in. However I'm confident we'll be OK.
