According to The S*n, Allardyce is the man Fosun want. Hope it's true.

My own professional opinion about Sam is really good. He and Shi have the ability to share a very long friendship. The Fosun management are push overs and it's actually big Sam who holds all the cards. He's like one of those people everything falls into place for and the Wolves situation is no different. It's hardly a now or never situation, so I wouldn't panic too much if he decides it's for later but I do sense a sort of inevitability about him advising people within Fosun.

Being totally honest, I don't think Sam would like Mendes but the relationship between Shi and Sam couldn't be stronger. Infact Mendes didn't come from Shi at all and I know he would do things differently, i. e, give all the power back to the manager. Interesting one. Maybe Mendes has to leave first? Like I said, nothing is forever, not even those irritating agents.

Bham Wolf tells us that Doughie Freedman has been hired, with the announcement on Monday. Personally I would be surprised if Wolves rushed into anything.

Big Sam will bring a winning mentality to the team. I'd rather us win games playing decent football rather than passing teams off the park and losing.

I do know a winning mentality isn't to bring freedman to wolves! A losing one is what it would be! 😂.

I think that you are wrong about Fosun management Wavidsmith. They are not pushovers. They are utterly ruthless in my opinion which is why they quickly got rid of Zenga and Butti. If things don't go right this time round they may well review their links with Mendez but worryingly they may also call into question project Wolves. They have shareholders to answer to after all.

Why look any further than Nigel Pearson.
Set Leicester up for last years title. Like him or not its hard to argue he's not got the qualifications.

Can't see Sam and Mendes having a problem as they have a common agenda. Number one priority is lining their pockets.

The problem (like I stated last night) is, and will be, Mendes. We've seen it today in the press with him recommending 2 European coaches. Jeff Shi actually shares exactly the same views as you and I but is getting overrun by him. It is such a pity 'cos Big Sam would have been installed by now and a very healthy relationship would be flourishing between them all. Unfortunately, it may take a few more years before the power is given back to the manager.

The most important thing is that Shi keeps gaining British contacts behind the scenes, like Sam, who he can go back to in future years. The contacts Shi makes here will be far stronger than those from the EU (from a personal perspective) . The Chinese share a very similar sense of humour to the British and are far happier working with us, as supposed to those from the EU. There is a massive contradiction in personalities at the moment and the key to football success is friendship and enjoying the business you're in - this then rubs off onto the players, etc. Just try and have patience until Shi puts his foot down on Mendes or any EU influences and starts working like a traditional chairman.

You've actually answered your own question, Old Wulf. Ask yourself why they got rid of Zenga and Butti so quickly? It's basically because their argumentative mentality doesn't sit right with the Chinese. Calling Fosun or Shi 'ruthless' is laughable, although I perhaps wouldn't say this about Mendes.

Fosun need to start making contacts in the UK with people here who take things far less seriously, are far more forgiving and understand sense of humour. If you want to see the complete opposite to this, watch the interview on YouTube with Mendes. Hardly makes for a happy business having somebody that serious around you.

Fine by me. Experienced achieving at this level more than anyone.

Still have a sneaking suspicion Rob Edwards will be given the job after we win the next couple of matches.

Track record of gaining promotions and then keeping teams up. Answer big Sam. Can't believe this opinion isn't shared by more wolves fans.
