Did Darren Bent not have a very successful couple of years at Charlton Athletic? Perhaps he was back there supporting his former club. Wouldn't read too much into that, but no point in ruling anything out.

Darren Bent is on 70k plus a week??? No chance of us signing him! Anyway could'nt trap a bag of cement would rather give young Macca a go ;-)
