Morning All. I have some very hot gossip from within the walls of Molineux. I believe it to be true as I have had decent info from this source before.
Kenny Jacket is said to be more than a little fed up with the powers that be. He was promised significent funds for the rebuilding of the squad and has so far only landed McDonald and a free in Ricketts. His relationship with Kevin Thelwell is said to be, at best, strained, as he feels all the players that he is showing interest in are then being totally ignored and rubbished by Thelwell, who has a close working relationship with both M and M.
It is understood that the outcome of the Doyle and Sako transfer mess will be the culmination over the weekend. If Sako and Doyle are sold (as expected) and Jacket is left with no time to find replacements and/or given none of the money to spend, then expect him to resign as early as Tuesday next week.
I hate to be the bringer of bad news and hopefully it won't come to this. But i'm just the messenger and as I have already said, my source is pretty reliable and has given me strong info in the past.

Scoopy Wolf.

Why would that be the case, why would
M and M want to upset the best start in years. I would point out that we have gone after several targets. For some bizarre reason you source seems to want to cause trouble. Makes no difference anyway, Morgan owns the club end of.

2.) 29 Aug 2013
What the op has said could be true. The point is that it is believable judging from the history in the last few years.
At the start of Kenny's reign the rhetoric was about bringing in four or five players and now it is 'minimal'.
Does anyone really believe in anything that Morgan, Moxey and Thelwell say or do?

I still wonder without Doyle and Sako where the goals will come from? All I can see is a poor version of hoof ball up the park to the (poor IMO) Sigurdarson or expect Griffiths to do it all himself. Ismail looks like he has potential but wants to take on the world - twice everytime he gets the ball.

Although Doyle hasn't got a great scoring record he offers much to the squad and I still think Sako is a class act.

As for the statement above, considering the farce of the last two seasons, sadly I could well believe it if the club is being allowed to be run by bean counters.

4.) 29 Aug 2013
Hope we are not going down this road again, if its true what scoopy wolf says his source has given him good info. in past, like to now what good info.that was, does seam worrying that no new faces have arrived and you get that feeling after good start we have had, that it could come to an end if doyle and sako go with nobody in to replace them, after what deano said about not having any money and if k.jacket does not get any money then surely this must be the end for the 2 ms running our f.c.unless this info.has been made up by some rubbish fan to cause trouble what you think wolves fans.wolfy

5.) 29 Aug 2013
I can see a lot of truth in Scoopy wolfs source, Solbakken had money to spend but since then were actin like paupers! We had another 16 mil parachute drop this season with 2 lots of 8 mils to follow! 2 M's back Jacko as I feel we've got a decent manager, don't lose him! Paul Tamworth

6.) 29 Aug 2013
Agree also it could be true, even if he made it up (if you see what I mean). Some of us predicted a while back that the Thelwell+Head Coach model was highly likely to create strain and tension.

7.) 29 Aug 2013
Number 1 might be correct about the relationship with Thelwell. He is very arrogant, doesn't have the respect of the staff and is generally disliked. I can see us being stitched up over transfers. I think we should make the play offs with what we have, but if we want to sure of promotion we do need to improve the squad.
Can't see KJ walking, though

8.) 29 Aug 2013
We have enough till January, then asses. Doyle and sako staying till January at least. Don't get sucked into post above
Utw

9.) 29 Aug 2013
Still think and hope Doyle and Sako are staying because then I think we will be strong enough to compete for promotion. Impressed by Ricketts from what I've seen. Concerned about the observation about Thelwell though - don't like the sound of KJ being undermined. UTW

11.38 and tv sport reporting we have had an offer accepted by Barnsley for last back Scott Golbourne. Player at molinuex as we speak.
Tommo

11.) 29 Aug 2013
Contrary to what I've heard.believe kj is delighted with the squad he has plus expecting two additions one permanent and a pl loan.

12.) 29 Aug 2013
"We have enough till January, then asses."

You mean like last season? You can say that again!

13.) 29 Aug 2013
Don't believe it to be honest. He'd be mad to walk out on us now. If Doyle goes we still have enough cover up front, If Sako goes we will be light on the left but besides that we have a very strong team. Where does KJ think we need to strenghten?

14.) 29 Aug 2013
I guess that puts your conspiracy to bed. Golbourne is having a medical! so that will be 3 signings. we look like keeping Doyle and Sako so it could feel like 5, plus griffo = 6. we might not of made a lot of signings but we have a lot of new faces in and around the team. We also ain't lost a game yet. Why make 5+ signings when what we have looks promising? We don't need a new striker because what we have are good enough or just need a run. we have a strong midfield they just need to gel and our defence is as strong as its been for a good few years. We do need a winger who can play L or R but other than that there's no real reason to panic. KJ might be coming out saying its going to be quiet but that could be just to put other teams off the scent. a few times this year targets have been announced and clubs higher up have beat us to them. this is just a tactic IMO the time to worry is when we are 10 games in and mid table or lower. let's have some harmony among us and stop all the negativity. you don't see this on any other teams rumour site just ours and its quite pathetic been going on for far to long now guys let's just support the team and stop being the country's biggest moaners.

Mcwolf
Completely different team and league!
A bit of optimism, wouldn't hurt!
I know that is difficult for some fans!
We are supporters, support!

16.) 29 Aug 2013
Were did they get this thelwell is arrogent and doesn't get on with k.j.from, think its one of those rubbish fans down the road causing trouble, looks like there jelous again because we are getting our house in order and are getting the crowds back on our side with terrific support in this league with a terrific coach in k.jacket the 2 ms would be persons to interfere with our coach now, what do you think wolves fans.wolfy

17.) 29 Aug 2013
To be honest I would find it all very surprising. Jacket has managed Watford, Swansea and Millwall and he would not have had money at any of these. As for squads even if Doyle and Sako left we would have more international players than any other team in the division. Although we would be looking a little bit light.

18.) 29 Aug 2013
"If we lose Doyle or Sako I wonder where the goals will come from". The same Doyle who hasn't scored yet?

19.) 29 Aug 2013
Guys my post was ironic if you didn't notice. Am I the only one who spotted the spelling?

20.) 31 Aug 2013
My sources indicate that wolves have several players on standby if Doyle and Sako go. Also that KJ has agreed with M+M that our window for sales also closes before the official one. We will not compromise on price and we will not be left empty handed by late sales. KJ has worked in some of the most difficult positions possible and made it work, he knows he has the power not Thelwell and that his power is increasing with every positive result. Someone is being dis-honest here.
